Yeah and of course when the Conservatives were in power here in Coventry everything was rosy in the garden wasn't it!
Successive councils have buggered up this city over a long period of time and the Conservatives are just as much to blame for that too. They were in power here for a while in the 1970's and again for 6 years between 2004 and 2010.
Awful job by a succession of councils.
I wasn't supporting the Tories. I'll never support either Lab or tories. They're both different sides to the same crappy coin.

Say what you want but when you have people that have come to this country to live saying that we need to slow down the flow of immigrants to the country that something needs to be done. We have laws being dictated by those that have noting to do with this country. They make us send money to countries in aid when they have their own nuclear weapons instead of spending it where it is needed.....then a lot of the aid money doesn't go where it should. And all this whilst we are cutting aid to those that need it in our own country. Human rights? FFS. A murderer can stay in this country if he gets a bird pregnant but has nothing to do with the kid, but someone with parents born here can't stay as they don't need the human rights help.
And that is just for starters. I am not saying that we need to leave the EU. But we need to be able to rule ourselves. And you are in your own bubble if you can't see anything wrong with the EU.
If you believe all of that then you do want to leave the EU
I don't see the immigration issue to be honest. It doesn't personally impact on my life and I don't see the country as full.
'It doesn't impact on my life'..................How fucking Grendel is that statement !?
Immigration impacts on everything, Schools, transport, housing/ house building, crime and the NHS. If you think this little Island can continue to absorb a population the size of Coventry each year going forwards then you are a mug !
Good luck running the country once all of the foreign talent has packed their bags for a less hostile country. What most people don't realise is that the vast majority of those coming into the country are highly educated and here to benefit the country and get suitably rewarded. My missus is a midwife and she has the equivalent of a first-class honours degree and understands Latin & Ancient Greek. Still, as long as those talented British citizens are getting ready to step up, we will be ok. :S
If people come here and contribute I have no problem at all with immigration.
Most of those coming into the country do contribute though, yet for some reason everyone has it in their head they come here and fleece the country dry.

I know.
The press don't help with their anti-foreigner inflammatory talk all the time.
I know, people don't bother to engage their brains and simply take the newspapers as gospel. We should be proud that some of the finest minds in Europe want to come to this country to work and be paid properly for their hard work.
Instead if some had it their way, they would be discouraged from coming here and go elsewhere instead. IMO, part of the reason why this country does so well is the fact that we have these people coming into the country and we should be proud of it.
Still, i'm sure that there is a wealth of talent waiting to takeover once those fucking foreigners have gone.
I'll vote to stay in the eu, but some of the scare stories about leaving are hilarious.
If you believe some then there were no human rights before 1998, and Britain was no place for foreigners before 1975.

Parts of all the big cities in Europe are getting it bad. It isn't most people coming in. But there is no way of stopping the wrong sort of people coming in. I don't have a problem with someone who wants to work. When I get my cars washed I give a tip of about 50% of the cost. They work hard for the money. But look at the crime levels. They had a shutdown in Paris last week. They tried to stop the pickpockets and got threatened. You have those in London that get arrested for crimes and go straight back to it. The minority of people living in London were born in England. Then you have our hospitals that are full but more coming in. Those with a bad criminal record are unknown to the police here. Look at the bad crimes committed in this country and then see how many are committed by illegal immigrants. It is quite a high percentage for the amount in this country. None of this is being racist. I am not in any way. But we need to tighten our borders. The EU wants us to slacken them even more.
I could go on. But what is the use. We all know it is true. But it is easier to bury your head in the sand. If I am so wrong why do so many people not born in this country but have lived here for a long time say it is time to stp the flow from coming in?

You are mostly correct on all of it but sadly the Labour years from 1997-2010 made it very much the fashion to call anyone racist who questioned anything to do with the subject, the same people slated UKIP at every opportunity in the lead up to the election but 4 million proved that many of their points are valid to a lot of people. It's a numbers game and if the poor beleaguered refugees and economic migrants arriving in Southern Europe are spread around the West at the bequest of the EU then there will be an even bigger flood. I don't blame the individuals at all but Europe is filling up at an alarming rate and the problems need to be solved in their home countries. Trouble is the West has stirred up and created many of them.........
There is certainly a desire by both those born here and those not born here to stop criminals entering the country. The very vast majority of those coming here do so because they wish to work. Again, you focus upon the migrants who wash your car? Why ignore the doctors, nurses, midwives etc who come into this country? Who actually benefit the country?
I am not sure why you have chosen to focus upon migrants who are criminals and ignored the 95% who have come here to work and benefit British society?

Subjective. There is no percentage available to their illegal status. Clearly illegal means that those individuals have no place here and therefore are irrelevant in a debate on immigration.
But we need to tighten our borders. The EU wants us to slacken them even more.
You quote illegal immigration as the main crime source so EU is surely legal isn't it? Again it has broadly been successful in filling jobs that the population seem reluctant to take on the one hand and incapable on the other. Do they want to slacken them? Vote no at the referendum if this above economic viability is a primary concern.

We do not all know it is true, a lot of us think it is xenophobic nonsense. Look at a study by the LSE as an example.

Surely its the governments duty to ensure that the indigenous population is at full employment before letting in more workers?
That was the policy of Nazi Germany wasn't it?
Well yes it was. Boot out the foreigners and provide full employment for the Homeland.
No reasonable or sane person would suggest it. It is racist, dangerous talk.
You show me any quote/document/press release by the third reich that says they would allow immigration of non Germans to solve a labour shortage.
They sacked Jews and sent them to Labour camps so that the indigenous population could have their jobs you moron
They sacked Jews and sent them to Labour camps so that the indigenous population could have their jobs you moron
Jews weren't indigenous?
Interesting you call me a moron when you have clearly not read what I said. I'll simplify what I said so you might understand it. Allow immigration when we reach full employment. That better for you?
Now, show me anything that says the Nazi Government would allow any non German immigration when there was full employment?
Grendel, may I take this time to call you a complete ass-hole..
