Not the prospect itself; don't care if it's Wasps, Gansu Tianma, LA Galaxy, Bedworth... I'm happy because the sale (don't care who to) has ended SISU's chances of crow-barring the Ricoh with their bully boy tactics.
You really are a nasty piece of work.
Welcome to Coventry- The Home of Franchise Sport and the most hypocritcal fans in football.
So your hatred of SISU is greater than your love of ccfc.

An expert in Forensic linguistics would be busy on this reply Sick Grendel Boy
He is spot on though isn't he. The hatred does overcome the logic for many of you. Its why most of you never ever talk about football but make attempts to point score for anyone against sisu even though every single step makes the club more and more unsalable.
That doesn't matter though does it? The death of the club is a small price to pay for giving old Joy another one in the eye

He or you are spot on?.
He or you are spot on?
You are possibly right about the death of the club and that is what upsetting people and that's why they are centring anger towards the main cause of the problem.
You focus your anger and what the majority see as the lesser evil in the problem its pretty much as simple as that, you just don't see it for some reason.
Most who vent this anger, also attend the matches or listen if they don't and post in the football forums.
Oh and you owe me am apology for creating a post slating me about getting my facts wrong. When I had my facts right and you had yours was wrong. I am sure it will come and you just haven't noticed the thread.
Got a link?
This is where I totally respect people like BHSB, LAST, Duffer etc. While obviously everybody has different views there are some people who obviously dislike SISU but they seem to have the club and the football side's (which is why we are all on here) interests first. What I don't understand is the people who put so much time in coming on places like this and literally just talking about the politics side of things but don't actually seem fussed about the football. We are all football fans aren't we, we don't go to games to talk about how good that real estate deal was, it is about the players on the pitch. Yes we are playing shit at the minute so I can see why people would lose motivation to go but I think most who give it the big one about never going again would just go still no matter what. While even OSB talks numbers all day every day and business, I think he is a football coach and still goes to watch his lad play as well as CCFC so while we joke about "council lovers" and "sisu lovers" most of them do still just want to go to games on a Saturday and watch some blokes kick a ball about and talk about why they are crap.
There are some really strange ones who stand out on here now we have gone back to the Ricoh though (not naming names)

I haven't a clue what he's on about
I'm in the category you just described - to me, whether we beat Bristol City on Saturday, or the result of any other game, is of distinctly secondary importance to the ongoing ownership problem. I've said many times and I say it again - we can't prosper as a club with SISU at the helm, so first priority is to get rid of them. I'm not one of these "I don't care who owns the club, I just want to watch my team" - that's a short sighted view that will keep us in the doldrums.
The annoying thing for me is that although most fans want what is best for CCFC, they seem to have lost sight of the concept that other people, especially the council, don't have an obligation to bend over backwards to help us. Some fans on here sound aggrieved that we've been wronged in some way...it's like they never heard of the JR and the verdict that explained how CCFC/Sisu set out to destroy ACL. Why would ACL and its owners help us after that? Why would the council think it was a good idea to sell to SISU after the aggressive, bullying tactics of the rent strike?
Some people just don't see that. Imagine that people on here were trying to blame the iceberg itself for sinking the Titanic. I'd write "well, it's not the iceberg's fault, it's not played an active role in this and the ship sinking is just a natural conclusion of the ship running into it" .... people on here would be accusing me of being an "iceberg lover" and saying that the iceberg should have done more to help out the ship when it was in trouble, should have moved out of the way, etc etc - it would be comical if it wasn't quite so fecking stupid.

Dongle conspiracy #5328
That Iceberg example is miles off. A better example would be where one of the ship's drivers / captains had 20 pints so was out of it and another had 5 pints and the bloke watching the radar or whoever usually checks for icebergs had fallen asleep. There would be a few people to blame there, not necessarily all equally but all have done something wrong in the whole mess.
Yeah but all those people are to do with the Titanic, not the iceberg...petty offer Deliu, ship's boy Igwe, first mate Timmy, captain Joy etc - yet people on here would blame the iceberg!!
Youd make a good blog writer!I was over for the Crawley and Crewe games, and to me the club has an awful feel of decline about it.
The Crawley game in particular- played in front of the smallest home gate in living memory (?) was just not fun- I actually enjoy going to work more. Crewe away was also tedious, and I find it hard to watch a game but limited set of players toiling fruitlessly in front of some incredibly irate fans- and both games cost £22 each, which is wildly excessive considering the poor fare on offer.
So I won't be trying quite so hard to organise my trips over around the fixture list. Life is too short, so I'll wait and see if any new direction comes out of the Wasps episode (oddly enough as I write, a wasp has flown into a spiders web on my window. An omen?).
Last game I actually enjoyed was a 3-2 win away at Milton Keynes a couple of Christmases back in front of 5000 away fans. The team that got that result no longer exists as the club seems to have a policy of charging as much as possible for the weakest team they can get away with- yet another wild miscalculation.
So no, I'm not going to punish myself any further.............but this may of course change if they start winning loads of games (the wasp escaped).
The last time I got conspiracy theorist thrown at me.
I had suggested the rent strike was about devaluing ACL to pick it up on the cheap.
Looks like high court judge believed my rubbish
I don't know how the likes of Nick Grendel Torch, Sick Boy et al have the gall to keep coming on here acting like that TBH. They've been proven wrong at every turn, it's obvious to the point of sadness that they have some kind of axe to grind despite being proven wrong time and time again. I wouldn't worry about the flailing comments about conspiracy or anything else, just rantings of some very sad people. In another time they'd be writing to the Telegraph in green pen about how the council should get the cats out of their garden or something.

I like cats.
