Cummins as soon as thye doesn't get a wicket for a while he retreats into really defensive fields where we can score safely and quickly

The Aussies have realised we are desperate to score. Short balls will naturally bring about more air-time after a shot unless they’re left alone. Basically, we’re having a swipe at anything rather than letting the bowlers tire themselves out.

Because we keep playing at it essentially. They've set up a field with men back to catch so the best thing is to just duck them and put away anything on a length. But bazball probably dictates that isn't entertaining enough.

It's not Bazball that is the issue, it's stupidity. The ball brook was never there to be hit to the part of the ground he hit it to. There were loads of scoring other side

Patience with Bazball will wear thin if the number of ridiculous dismissals doesn't reduce. And Bairstow has to be scoring runs to justify keeping Foakes out. And they all better get used to short bowling - what was that 4 batsmen hit??

As DOD said, that wasn’t Bazball so much as very poor shot selection. Stokes showed a willingness to be patient so it’s not Bazball order. Frustrating as everyone could see we were playing into Aussies hands. Some very good short bowling though

It's a reaction to the fact that test ricket outside the uk is dying and needs to attract more spectators and the fact that under silverwood we were so negative and would end up 130/5 after 60 overs

Australia should just take their time to get to a score of 250+ then have a day and a half at least to win the game.
