Just refusing to learn here, and now we've got Broad against the short ball.
If we ignored it there's plently of runs.It’s an interesting conundrum

Patience with Bazball will wear thin if the number of ridiculous dismissals doesn't reduce. And Bairstow has to be scoring runs to justify keeping Foakes out. And they all better get used to short bowling - what was that 4 batsmen hit??

Going to have to argue Bairstow & Robinson - who can both bat -were Bazball. Wickets falling and both out trying to score big runs. Last recognised batsman has to do better and nurse the tail - not expose it. Bazball is about maximising pressure not crumbling under it. Sometimes you have to briefly reset then go again. Theory might be sound but current application isn't working - particularly with the lower order.As DOD said, that wasn’t Bazball so much as very poor shot selection. Stokes showed a willingness to be patient so it’s not Bazball order. Frustrating as everyone could see we were playing into Aussies hands. Some very good short bowling though

Need to skittle the Aussies out for a lead less than 280/290 I think.
