I've lived in Vietnam for 9 years where whiteys like me are definitely in the minority and, outside the big cities at least, are routinely pointed & stared at. We regularly get overcharged in markets & by taxi drivers, immigration/work permit regulations get tougher every year, and if we get into an accident or a fight with the locals & the police get involved, we have to pay up whether it's our fault or not.
Abuse is rare, violence virtually non-existent, but it's still a form of racism I guess. But we don't moan about it, and most black/Asian people in the UK are the same & are less sensitive to the issue than white liberals like me. I've been racially "abused" by Viets on a couple of occasions, but just laughed it off, flicked them the Vs & gave them a bit of grief back. They're the ones who look stupid & uneducated, not me.
Same with this clown at the Ricoh - he's the one making a c**t of himself in public. But disappointing that noone had a word with him.
