Back to being the biggest club in Coventry? (8 Viewers)

All I am trying to say is what would the punishment be and if it's not a big payout of some form why are SISU doing this, cannot just be to cover the legal costs?

I think they were talking about money, I guess they could try and blag loss of earnings but not sure anybody knows what they are after from it.

The way you worded it does already make it look like SISU would be taking money from children and I bet that is how it would be spun. Rather than council screw ups lose tax payers money.

Only thing I have heard about naming rights is that it is proving a more difficult task than expected.

Have also heard Wasps are working on branding the concorse so everything will be yellow / black and Wasps related. They also are planning to refurb Bar 87 to make it more like a rugby club whatever that means. Was told both things are part of an ongoing rebranding program so don't expect these to be the last changes.

That simply can't be true?! The brains on here told us they would never do such a thing and changing the seats and further rebranding would just be a waste of money! They can't be wrong again, can they?

Strange that the SBT leader hasn't answered the question about Wasps getting the stadium on the cheap!

But what will the punishment be? Probably a lot of costs being paid to SISU, which means the rate payers of Coventry will have to foot the bill. If they insist on the £60m that means that every man woman in child would have to pay £200 each.

If CCC have to pay out to SISU then it means they have been found to have done something wrong. Wouldn't you then have an issue with CCC rather than SISU?

Don't think the taxpayer would foot the bill. The council should have insurance for this kind of thing. Even if they don't they should have reserves.

Forgot one other thing I was told. Wasps want to make the stadium cashless, didn't someone try that before ;)

We can have Italia coming on here saying it's state of the art never been done before and Wasps acting like they invented it, the same way they took credit for the train station then went quiet when it went to shit.

The same SBT where leading members attend Wasps matches because it's top level sport? Not surprised there quiet. Maybe we should all start going along to villa park. Imagine they got few empty seats. Or have they got to move miles away first?

Makes no difference to me as I don't spend a penny in there.

Why would I say that when I have had a card already. I think I even had one at HR?
Know if they use contactless and allow Apple pay etc then that might be a first.

Also the print at home ticket is a first for the Ricoh.

Who took credit for the train station ?

You need to get over this. Your wasting your life away fighting your futile battle.
Use your 'skills' and ask SISU WTF is going on !!

No I don't. You don't know me. I feel strongly about the injustice of this situation. Near enough everyone agrees that the move by wasps is morally wrong. Except you of course. That's because it's lining your pocket. What a guy you are! What a role model! Dropping all principles to make a few quid. Thankfully my principles are stronger than that and which I make no apology for. Think you should have a look at yourself rather than telling me what to do.

We all feel strongly about it but whats happened has happened. All I'm saying is having a go at people who attend is pointless.

What has making money got to do with me watching Wasps. You don't know me either and you certainly don't know the reasons I have for going.

What actually are your principles, I'm confused.

Let me guess. Your a lifelong wasps fan? You enjoy top class sport? Clearly something very important for you to think the move was wrong but go along anyway. My principles are that if something is wrong it's wrong. Unlike your let's move on what's happened has happened attitude. Having a go at people? Hardly. I made an observation, albeit a sarcastic one. Tony had a go at nick the other day for going sixfields. You might want to have a word with him too and tell him to move on. The hypocrisy among some on here is unbelievable!

You can bear a grudge as long as you like.
I'm just enjoying the Football and currently enjoying the new Rugby experience.

Not really an answer to anything is it?

What can we do but moan. Our club is doing what it wants with no real fan input.
We have never had a say on a new stadium and certainly never been shown a business case showing us the reasons for a move.
They are working on a pot of land somewhere in Rugby and have no idea what fans will be coming.

Just enjoy the football and Rugby if you want. It effects nothing.

As I and othera have said, the hypocrisy on this forum is a joke. Hopefully not too many supporters of other clubs come on here as if they did italia and toni are bringing us all down to their level.

Don't tend to get involved with the childish nonsense on the forum, but you do come across as a bit of a tool mate

Lets hope the word "currently" is prophetic

Do we move to Northampton then.
£100K a year is too much ?

Do I really need to explain this in more detail? Of course I'm not saying we bugger off to Northampton again. What I'm saying is our fans could give as little revenue as possible to Wasps.

Really ?
So Sisu can ultimately get the stadium after moving the club again after Wasps decline ?
Good luck with that.

Except I haven't said that. You asked what we could do apart from moan. What we can do is not given them revenue and attend their matches. In my opinion that condones the move and I do not believe moving a club half way across the country is acceptable.

Why are you fighting the Wasps move when their fans don't seem bothered.
Most I speak too are quite happy about the move. Quite a few were travelling to Wycombe some distance anyway.
Thay see it as a needed move as they were there when the club almost went out of existence only a few years ago.

CCFC were in administration when they moved to Northampton, so perhaps that was alright after all. Hypocritical clown.

Am I not speaking in English? I do not believe moving a club halfway across the country is acceptable. That's my belief and I am not going to do anything I feel condones that move.

That said I don't recall when you were appointed spokesman for all Wasps fans. There certainly are many Wasps fans that are bothered, that was clearly evident on their forum when the move was announced before anyone who offered a dissenting opinion was banned.

Presumably when you're doing this extensive research into the opinion of Wasps fans you are taking a good sample and not just asking people you happen to see at the Ricoh attending Wasps matches?

Travelling 20 miles up the M40 to High Wycombe on what you keep being told is a temporary basis is very different to permanently moving the club to Coventry, surely you can see that? A move might have been needed but why to Coventry, why not back to London as their fans were promised?

Haha it's a joke, isn't it? I wonder what italia and toni thought of those locals in Northampton going to watch ccfc play? I'm sure that if they could walk to Sixfields it was fair enough?

Also, where had this notion of us not being able to afford to run the Ricoh come from?
