This thread is so boring its like a merry go round.
We have two games ahead of us that could map out our future yet some are still going on about something we cannot change.
So people can't talk about things but then go to the Football later? Or talk about football on other threads.
How many others apart from Tony agree with you Italia? How many others are desperate for us to have a 10 year deal? Desperate for us to use their ticketing system? You lose the argument by being a hypocrite. People only respond out of sheer frustration at the hypocrisy. I imagine the SISU plan is to be as successful as possible. Like most clubs. After all it is the only way they will get their investment back or some of it. The council also used the club as cannon fodder for years and got away with it without a challenge. Yet your very quiet about that? Again another show of hypocrisy and double standards.
How am I with Italia?
If we were moving from renting stadiums in Coventry (in the 50's) to Nuneaton to Tamworth to Rugby to Cannock you might reconsider if they bought a stadium in Kettering.
Bit melodramatic. You both have a similar opinion which contrasts to others. Who was it that used to say there were six people on the same side or something similarly childish? To ostracise the six from other people perhaps? For having a differing opinion.
your not in the majority who in reality have never bothered who owns the stadium.
I can't go along with it being the same situations or even being a franchise, other than 'London and surrounding counties' was their home.
- The stadium was empty and Wasps needed one.
So hypothetically we need a stadium and Rushdens old ground is empty, so you would support such a move?
I would say its possible not unlikely, although we shall wait and see.
Crowds lower than expected, many people underwhelmed by the experience and failing to return, constant reliance on discounts and freebies, coupled with the fact finally CCFC are performing on the pitch and fans are returning to the football club, not deserting to a Rugby Club.
I also note that Wasps are hardly pulling up trees in signing new players, no marquee signings and vetoed by Leigh Halfpenny. Their is a whiff of not having the financial package to attract the best.
although we shall wait and see.
Can't be. We apparently agree on everything
I do find it interesting how many people have decided so quickly that Wasps are here to stay.
It's the same mindset that had SISU down as excellent owners, with good business sense after they'd been here six months.
Now... as you rightly point out, Wasps *might* be here to stay but... so far who knows! It's certainly true that their stated *intention* is to stay, but then their stated intention was to stay in London/return to London/stay in Wycombe/return to London so the rhetoric is probably as best discounted as anything our owners come up with.
As for actions? Well, they have bought a ground, but they've also heavily loaded it with debt. The results of their attempts to pay that off will determine their immediate future, although who knows if even once that debt is paid off whether they stay, or just flog their community asset to move elsewhere for a similar strategy. Windsor Park might fancy some big name top flight teams after a refurb...
It's too early to decide one way or another whether the great franchise experiment has worked or not.
I personally see it all ending in tears for Wasps, and I will be honest enough to say I would be more than happy with that, which I am sure people know from my posts.

I dont want them to go out of buisness, just look for something a little more suited to their needs in London eg) 10k max stadium.
I feel that there current experiment isnt quite panning out as they thought it would, and the constant promotions and freebies just isnt creating a new or loyal future ban base.
The truth is that it is possibly the only true 365day a year sports stadium in the country.
Really?
Wasps home match ticket sales isn't the only source of revenue at the Ricoh. The truth is that it is possibly the only true 365day a year sports stadium in the country.
Really?
An utterly bizarre statement.
Can either of you think of another ground with casino, hotel, exhibition hall etc?
Must be a duplicate accountThat wasn't your statement was it? You were talking about 365 days a year, I am pretty sure there will be a few stadiums that make money every day. Which is revenue 365 days a year.
Copying Italia there with making a bullshit statement and then moving the goalposts when somebodys picks up on it.
Despite the fact Fisher, and Wasps for that matter, are always banging on about revenues what you've got is a rugby club who have been losing millions for years, and have taken on tens of millions of additional debt, and a stadium company who have been struggling and also losing money.
I don't see how putting the two together automatically leads to a bright successful future for both.

Never changed my statement. You just don't understand the details.
If you count selling a ticket from a room at a stadium as 365 day income then every stadium is 365 days a year.
You know what he means by 365 days at the Ricoh you just struggle again with the obvious detail.
Name them "few stadiums" then and give a brief overview of how they generate that 365 day a year revenue.
And no I didn't move the goal posts. I actually said in my OP that "they have plenty of other revenue streams to be capitalized
on". Now if you're unaware of the other revenue streams that are available at the Ricoh that's down to you, nothing to do with moving goal posts. It's a good job I was available to point them out to you.
The truth is that it is possibly the only true 365day a year sports stadium in the country.
In which case if you truly believe what you've just posted you must be delighted that we didn't buy it.
It doesn't have to have a Hotel, Casino and Exhibition all to make money every day does it? Other stadiums have hotels for example. Other stadiums have functions and exhibitions.
It was an incorrect statement, which then changed.
Erm, you said
Which is incorrect, so you then moved it to having a hotel, casino and exhibition hall.
Without checking others, don't Blackpool have a hotel, gym, restaurant and conference centre? I'd class that as 365 revenue.
So the new stadium will have a hotel ?
Fisher could still be proved right that Wasps paid too much...
