Nick - I completely get what you are saying but I'm sure you also know that not everybody fits the black and white mould you describe. Perhaps I am passionate in my posts but that passion doesn't stem from a support of Wasps it stems from being passionate about my views and experiences, there is a subtle difference. I don't have an agenda ! I could have easily said I'm a supporter of one team or another (that might have made life easier) but I'm not.
Perhaps bullying is not the right description but my point is that some just join in and make posts to have a go at the person because they disagree rather than contribute to the discussion and say why they don't agree, which frequently involves throwing insults and swearing.

I also think that people sometimes kid themselves that Wasps need to come on here to sway the opinion of a few die hard CCFC fans ............. does anyone think they really need to do that ? I certainly don't ! .... what does it matter to Wasps ? .... like I say with no disrespect to anyone but the few on here that bang on negatively about Wasps are hardly representative of the general CCFC supporter population (whether you like to hear that or not). I really don't think they would waste their time which is why it makes me laugh that I'm accused of being some kind of PR rep for Wasps

I think it is a few more than a few on here who dislike Wasps and the situation.
They clearly would waste their time though, as they have signed up on here (them, or a representive) to post in the past... So there is no "kidding" involved.
Have you done a survey for the CCFC supporter population? Being as you aren't a CCFC fan and haven't been to a game but live locally? I must admit, I was surprised at how many seemed to dislike Wasps when "timecapsulegate" happened. It was a fair few more and a wider "range" of people than a few bitter posters on here.
I fully understand there are more than the few on here that object to Wasps and the associated issues, what I'm saying is that the few on here (I specifically mean those that populate the Wasps forum rather than your general posters) are not necessarily representative of the thousands and thousands of good people who follow and watch CCFC week in week out, who probably have a complete spectrum and variety of views from one extreme to the other.
I'm sure that Wasps supporters have signed up in the past to 'sing their song' or get their views across but it surprises me that anyone actually employed by Wasps would sign up but I accept what you say if that's true. I do doubt that they would continue the need to do that at this stage though... but you would have better insight to that than me !

But how do you know that most city fans don't dislike Wasps or have different views to people on here? Have you done surveys?
Why would directors of ACL signup on here and post if they didn't think it could be influential? That's not saying here represents a majority of fans, as it doesn't, but it is an easy place to get access to a wide range of views.

It doesn't need a Wasps supporter to see that Wasps have pulled off a shrewd bit of business by moving to the Ricoh, regardless of all the historical politics.
Likewise it doesn't need a Wasps supporter to see that in the short time that they have been there they have done pretty well on and off the pitch, raking in a pretty good income from the whole operation, sitting in a play off place in the league, in a European quarter final, buying in some of the best players in world rugby, not bad for a team that's going to fail because they sell £1 tickets to school kids. Whether that continues remains to be seen but if it was my business/franchise I'd be pretty happy at the moment.

What is funnier is how Pro Wasps the quote you pointed out is.. I don't think you need outting, people can just read all of your posts and see you only post on Wasps threads.

As for not contributing anything to the discussion in hand, if you acted more like a reasoned adult and checked the thread you would see I have contributed many times, probably a lot more than yourself. The ironic thing was the post I originally commented on, written by yourself, also contributed minimally to the discussion, but lets conveniently sweep that under the carpet to suit your stance.
