Back to being the biggest club in Coventry? (6 Viewers)

Who cares who is in the spotlight more, we will always be a bigger club than some rugby twats who pitch up and steal another team's stadium, most people really don't care about rugby. When they go bust a handful of Coventry people will give a shit, their alienated London fans will shrug, they will get hardly any national media coverage and we can buy our stadium from whatever administrator/liquidator closes the parasites down.

So Sisu want to buy it ?
When did they say that ?
Or shall we turn the Ricoh into a derelict site first and then ask them ?

People need to get their arses out their hands and push Sisu for a plan.

I don't care who the bigger club is, they can both be big for all I care.
This is a Wasps slagging thread and I'm just putting in a bit of reality to passionate CCFC fans that can't see the wood through the trees.

Where is the reality you are bringing? All I can see is somebody who is a business partner with them making lots of shit up to make them look good.

I'm talking solely about CCFC, where am I bigging up Wasps ?
I'm saying no one bothers with us in L1 and things will improve when we get to the Championship.
The usual keep bringing up the Wasps comparison probably as a deflection for lack of any Sisu plan.

I knew it was you that gors on about 'the six'. Yet other day when I said tony backs you up. You made out you were being victimised. Another outstanding show of hypocrisy. Shame you can't make a living out of it or can you?

People aren't deflecting, they just point out your shocking hypocrisy because you now make a few quid about it.

All they need to do is turn things from SISU to Wasps and your opinions and views on exactly the same situation but different names suddenly changes.

You are posting in a thread that's about Wasps and saying things about CCFC but in comparison to Wasps.

Of course SISU want to buy it, they have for years as they know its their only out, we should want them to buy it too because it means getting new owners in. Hopefully something will materialise after the JR verdict, we can hope that it goes in our favour and the parasites have to pay back a whole chunk of cash.

I care who the bigger club is because if wasps were a big club doing well then it would be a direct threat to CCFC's future ownership of our ground. If wasps went bust we are the only logical owners of that stadium, no other out of town team would take it up after seeing what is happening.

Premier league football is worth more to Coventry than premiership rugby and a league one football club, the exposure of top flight football is massive and we will never get there without stadium ownership. I'm glad there is a massive thread slagging wasps off, it shows people are passionate for their club and want to remove obstacles standing in the way of our success

Italia: Yeah, but we can't do anything about that now. We should work with Wasps and make the best of it, etc etc

Why will Wasps have anything to pay other than maybe a few thousand extra for the period ACL had a loan from the council after they took over.

The reality is that they are a big club and doing well in their sport.
We can debate who is the bigger club but this thread is basing it on attendance and if thats how you quantify it then its marginal at the moment but CCFC will certainly take the prize in the Championship and hopefully this years run in.

Basically I agree, just would like to see the plan for stadium ownership.
Needs to show how Sisu
would finance it and whether we would just rent it back or not.
Realistically though we will not make PL without financial support from our owners, with or without our own stadium.

Sisu fighting didn't work so we might as well try something else.

Would people be happy with several years of bringing down Wasps by attacking anyone who goes near them, followed by several more years of Sisu withholding rent, maybe moving CCFC out for a while to force CCC to give up the freehold to Sisu? When finally our club can move in and Sisu sell club and Stadium as a package ?

Not for me.

Come on lads get your act together !!

Saying we will be back on the radar in the Championship and remembering how it was in the PL are 2 different things.

What makes me laugh is that one incorrectly interprets a post and the six step in like a team of school bullies.

How ever you put it we will not be on the radar until we get back in the Championship because all people, media etc are really interested in is the PL and anybody who might be coming into it.

WE. ARE. ALREADY. ON. THE. RADAR. AND. HAVE. HAD. MORE. MEDIA. ATTENTION. THAN. MOST. CHAMPIONSHIP. CLUBS. AND. WASPS. THIS. SEASON.

GETING. TO. THE. CHAMPIONSHIP. WILL. MAKE. LITTLE. DIFFERENCE.

Who is being attacked? I have no issue with people who go, I do like to point out the people who have been proved to be hypocrites though.

Short memories, amazing what waving a flag about can do to people.

Proved to be a hypocrite based on your assessment of CCFC being franchised to Northampton and Wasps being franchised to Coventry.:thinking about:
You need to get past this :claping hands:

CCFC weren't franchised to Northampton were they... quite obviously what is meant isn't it? I think if somebody picked a few posts out from different events from accounts like yours then the point would be proven.

"You need to get past this". You need to stop repeating the same phrases over and over, I guess it is a change from incorrect facts though.

I disagree.
More opportunities, more fans, more advertising, more TV time, more potential buyers, more money.

Other than the extra £4.5-5m that we know being in the championship, how much more high profile are huddlesfield, Rotherham, MK Dons, Bristol city, etc than we are at the minute?

Potential buyers lol, no fucking chance of decent owners with the current stadium arrangements.

So are you still maintaining we are not on the radar and have had no media this season?

Brilliant wumming btw.

If we fight everyone connected to wasps and they left I don't think there would be much of a fight for the Ricoh afterwards. We are, always have been and always will be, the only logical owners of that stadium. It could have worked on a tenant base but our council saw the club as a cash cow unlike other councils who see the potential financial benefit of a successful football club. We will own the Ricoh one day, the sooner the better from our perspective so wasps, for me, are the enemy and should be fought at every opportunity.

Nearly the perfect plan, just take out the bit about CCFC moving out.

To be honest give a few years and I believe Wasps will be in a huge mess, and the Ricoh will need a new leaseholder. Step inn CCFC, as we arent going to build one are we.

How can I be a hypocrite then if they are different ?
It's you and your believers that keep saying I moaned about CCFC to Northampton so why am I not moaning about Wasps to Coventry.

It's clear you can't debate so you attack the person counter arguing personally.

I care what happens to CCFC but I prefer to target Sisu rather than CCC and Wasps for the answer.

We have had plenty of opportunity to buy back into the stadium (Yes, we gave it away)
I won't regurgitate the detail, but I can if it's slipped your memory.

Because surely to be a hypocrite multiple events have to happen to prove it?

You have to be wumming, nobody can be that stupid.

Coventry City move temporarily 35 miles away. Its a disgrace, noone goes as they think it is wrong for the club to not play in its home city, thousands march through the street protesting.

Wasps move 90 miles permanently. Its fantastic, people turn up as they've always been despertate to go to rugby despite never going to watch CRFC.

It's a great plan but do Sisu want to deliver it?
Or, do we get rid of Wasps first and hope Sisu say we can afford it ?

I'll settle for Sisu putting us up for sale for what are accounted assets actually are (£2M?) and Wasps buying us and putting in a management company to run us. That's a better plan than we have at the moment.

As always not sure what you are on about, but I'll give it a go ....

Wasps would actually buy us and put the management company in.

I have no idea if they could make it work but they could keep us cost neutral (Thanks to Sisu).
It's not okay because as we know, to get up the Championship they would need to put some money in.
But IMHO there's more chance of them putting money in if they thought they could get us to the PL than Sisu putting any more money in.

So you would be happy with CCFC owned by a hedge fund called Moonstone and paying rent to wasps (holdings)?

How can wasps RFC own us? They have no assets and are owned and pay rent to wasps (holdings)?

I'll keep it as simple as I can.
Sisu to piss off and any man and his dog to come in and do a better job.

It's thinking like this that got us into bed with Sisu in the first place.
When Sisu do eventually piss off I certainly don't want anyone of their ilk to fill their place.

I'm sure you'll be ready with your gushing gifs though.

They just need to let us go at the £2M we are worth.
Can't see what is keeping them here.
More chance of moving on with Wasps than Sisu.

No chance of moving on with wasps, they have tied themselves in far too much debt that needs to be paid back plus interest, plus they have to do so whilst making ACL break even, cover the rugby clubs £3m pa losses, plus invest in the rugby team to make them "the best team in Europe", build a £7m training facility, and that's before buy us for £2m as you suggest then plough in the £10-13m pa needed to make us anywhere near competitive in the championship.

Keep dreaming Italia.
