Bid for Juke (1 Viewer)

You genuinely believe if we sold Juke for £1.5 million SISU would allow Thorn to spend £1.5 million on transfers?! Why would they even sell Juke in the first place if they weren't after the money for themselves?!

Nope, no-one believes that I'm sure. If we sold him for 1.5 mil i would expect a million to go into recouping some of the loses and about 500k for transfers tops. Think this is the only way we can go under Sisu. Sell our best players for a good fee, help pay off a bit of debt and buy someone cheaper.

What matters is, they've put it out there that one of our big potentials for next season and beyond, our number 9 no less, is up for grabs.

~Out of interest, where does it say that the club are denying it? Do you have a link?

It would be a disaster if he were to go. I'm not happy. Not happy at all!!

To be brutally honest Juke is the best of a bad bunch and won't be a 20 goal a season player next year. If we get any bid over 2 million say 2.5 m I would accept, give AT around 1.5 m to spend and with his scouting credentials I am sure we could get 3-4 good players from abroad or the lower leagues including strikers.

Although I doubt any transfers will/would be reinvested in the team.

I heard a quick mention on CWR earlier. But the story may have changed since

The last time we sold a striker and brought in 2 replacements it was Sheffers for Kyle & McKenzie and what poor business that was
