Popcorn on Tuesday for the Boddy and Vaughn show is my guess, very pleased Fisher is resisting the limelight.

Ah, but consider their 101 year old fans who are glad they’re back to their roots of not having any roots.

Seriously, they’d been at Loftus Road for 8 years. Next year they’ll have been at the Ricoh for just as long. Another four and they’ll match their time in Wycombe

This idea that they were some long time community club embedded in their local area is just nonsense. They didn’t even have a permanent ground for the first 56 years.

The fact our fans protested their move more than theirs should tell you how silly going all gammon faced over this is.

Good to see council script writers haven’t been furloughed yet

Isn’t Mr Fisher on the new stadium discussions?

You’d think cwr and telegraph may give some kind of update from their sources if there is any update

You'll probably see it on one of Nick Knowles DIY SOS.

'This delipaidated run down building, is in dire need of refurbishment and dettol. We have mustered together 120 helpers to give it a jet wash and touch of paint within 24 hours to return it to its further glory. You wouldn't believe but at 1 stage the facade of the building was once Sky blue'

Cuts to Eastwood and Boddy in tears applauding the work and leaning on Knowles shoulder

God works boring today

How is it backtracking. Any tenancy that could last for 10 years clearly has to go through both sides lawyers beforehand?

You'd also think it would have been past that point considering Legohead saying 'oooo announcement tomorrow' etc

I wasnt worried until today. Now i am

Gilbert clearly shouldn’t have said it would be done as soon as he said. I doubt there are any issues. If it had all gone tits up both sides would’ve come out blaming each other by now

I wouldn't read too much into Phil Upton's comments, I highly doubt an agreement is reached and then the "lawyers look over it". There are myriad reasons why a press conference isn't happening yet, not that it matters at all like osb said.

People are going to be concerned as on more than one occasion in the past the local media have said deal done and ready to be announced only for it to never happen.

This time we had deal done, just needs confirming at EFL board meeting today and will then be announced tomorrow. That's a pretty unambiguous timeline. Then the same people said the EFL board meeting wasn't even that day, surely a pretty simple thing to check before announcing it on the radio, followed by Fridays announcement being pushed to this week and now already talking about possibly next week.

Really hope its nothing and the announcement ends up being made but the longer it drags on the more concerned I become.

Maybe CCFC and wasp are being professional and not wanting it leaked out to the local press and have a tendency of jumping the gun and effin it up.

Remember when a take over was close and the investors dint want identities revealed. So the telegraph revelled them and they walked.
