Sometimes you have to take a young kid out of the firing line.
Don't re write history, he was making poor mistakes and decisions which cost him his place
And at Bristol.Nah, not true. He had some great games. We were at Watford and he made some tremendous saves.
And at Bristol.
Agreed. Rhys Carr and Lampard the only ones to have played Collins in the league this season. Not sure what they were seeing in training.Nowhere near as many we Collins though
Once you get yo 10 you can't get any better always room for improvement.A few of you saying Dovin ‘outstanding’ ‘man of the match’ etc, and then only nine.
Tough crowd
No idea why you haveI'm not calling out Lampard here... but his decision to pick Collins over Dovin is looking more and more bemusing by the game. No offense to Collins but Dovin is class. May be my new favourite player.
Probably because Lampard didn’t exactly pick Collins over Dovin, he just stuck with the keeper who’d been starting before he came in, as most managers would. No idea why you havebombed that - care to explain yourself @Boicey?
I was trying to!You’d think we’d lost 5-0 to a Don Hyam treble, a Thomas-Asante own goal and a late header from Rovers sub Claire-Marie. Enjoy the win!
5 for a goalscorer ? That's incredibly harshDovin 9
MVE 7
Bidwell 7
Lati 7
Binks 6
Kitching 7
Allen 7
Torp 6
Rudoni 6
BTA 5
Simms 8
I think there were a few things:I think Robins made some comments, or it was inferred, about a lack of presence and communication from him.
Which I don't have too much of an issue taking out the firing line for a game or two.
The real problem was Collins staying in the team for so long despite being at fault for at least a goal a game. It was really bizarre
I mean he did exactly pick Collins over Dovin 5x... but I did try to make it clear that I wasn't criticising him for it??Probably because Lampard didn’t exactly pick Collins over Dovin, he just stuck with the keeper who’d been starting before he came in, as most managers would.

I agree...id rate him the same a 5.Hes just wastes every opportunity..Simms wins the ball gives to BTA..then he runs into about 5 players and loses the ball...rinse repeat every 5 mins. Frustrating.5 for a goalscorer ? That's incredibly harsh
He is frustrating I wouldn't ever dispute that but I'd take a frustrating 6 points from 6 every time .I agree...id rate him the same a 5.Hes just wastes every opportunity..Simms wins the ball gives to BTA..then he runs into about 5 players and loses the ball...rinse repeat every 5 mins. Precisely, the break allowed him to get his head together and regain his confidence.Sometimes you have to take a young kid out of the firing line.

He should be able to go on about what he,wants without getting would you say that to my face bollocks.
If people think it's stupid, fair enough, they're quite with in their right to tell him so.
Yes the only obvious error for us, could not understand why he was dropped, Wilson is ok as a no 2 but that's about it, as for Collins I've seen more agile corpses. That was in his second run of games wasn't it? And the only obvious error he's made really.
It's gone and in the past , this constant sniping is getting tiresome .Can't figure it out.
Robins never dropped dovin
Robins dropped dovin to give him confidence which is why he's good now
Still think we are a creative player centrally short but am happy to be proven wrong when Wright and EMC are fitMaybe Doug does know his stuff, perhaps we have got a top 6 deck ?
Was hoping torp would be it but hasn’t quite got it yet, getting better though, wonder How wright and EMC both fit back in ? we’re just starting to look more balanced, not a bad problem to have thoughStill think we are a creative player centrally short but am happy to be proven wrong when Wright and EMC are fit
It's really not difficult, Nick. Dovin missed 3 league games after a few negative headlines about him and was replaced by a guy who is 50/50 on clean sheet sheets this season. Irrespective Dovin was Robins' No1 for his last five games. Can't figure it out.

Dovin admitted himself in an interview that he struggles with the communication side & understands that he needs to work on it.I think Robins made some comments, or it was inferred, about a lack of presence and communication from him.

@Ring Of Steel who was your man of the match?
Fuck off Your HighnessI get that but I could see it and I went on record with that. I'm right majority of time so I think it's time posters start following me as some sort of Messiah or something that's all.
