Very difficult one to give ratings for. Nobody (apart from Wilson obviously) stood out as being particularly good.

I thought Kelly was reasonable given how long he's been out for. Sheaf did well, hopefully nothing too serious with his injury.

JWE definitely an upgrade on Bidwell when he came on. I'm a Bidwell fan but he was shocking tonight.

Game of two halves tonight , no one worthy of more than a 5 first half
Second half I thought Hamer really drove the game forward , Norton -Cuffy and Wilson-Esbrand both attacked well from the flanks . I also thought Eccles was very tidy second half but moTM has to be Wilson

Don't want to get on the players backs too much as it's been a long, tough season and we're quite clearly down to the bare bones, but the performance was poor overall tonight. Wilson obviously scores highly for the goal, and I thought Gyokeres worked as hard as ever but struggling to single many others out for too much praise. Sheaf was having a decent game before he went off, and Hamer was trying his best to drag us up the pitch, although was quite sloppy himself. Don't really think the two loanee wing-backs have worked ot so far. Was overly harshed in the heat of the moment towards Wilson-Esbrand in the match thread, but he's also just not showing enough and isn't using the ball well enough when we need him to. Norton-Cuffey was the better of the two but he is hopelessly slow and some of his decision making is incredibly questionable. I was a big fan of Eccles when he broke into the team, but he's been below standard recently. He either seems to take too long on the ball or moves it on too quickly and either way it breaks down the move. Centre backs were ok as ever, although again the distribution is qute poor and we go play it back to the opposition needlessly far too often. Godden was probably the most ineffective player on the pitch tonight. Him and Gyokeres as a pair just doesn't work for me at all, and when we're struggling to get a foothold on a game he offers very, very little. Walker didn't have many opportunities to impose himself on th game, but felt like he did a better job of winning the aerial balls and holding up play in his cameo than Godden did in 90 minutes. I'd personally give Walker a start on Saturday.

Overall, not a great performance and not what we needed tonight, but to come out of that game with a point given how we played and how unlikely it was looking for most of the game has to go down as some sort of an achievement. Not convinced we have it in us to get 6 points from Reading and Birmingham given how we've been playing since the international break, and how bare bones our squad is, but we're still in the conversation with 3 games to go which is way above expectations both at the start of the season, and especially 7 games in when we looked like shoe ins for relegation.

EDIT: Completely forgot to mention Kelly, who I thought did well, especially after so long out.

Kelly better than I expected, Norton-Cuffy with some good driving runs and poor positional sense, Sheaf about the only one who could pass it first half, Wilson the star, need to think about letting Godden be super sub rather than starting. Eccles poor first 15 minutes, forgot what strip we were playing in.

Wilson 8

Can’t really blame him for not saving their goal and some of his kicking was awful. But, he scored and celebrated like a madman. That’ll do for me.

Norton Antivirus 7

So difficult to rate - I think he did ok and helped keep BBD quiet.

McNally 7

Some good blocks and tackles. He’s a proper defender and did ok.

Fadz 7

Nice to see him get riled up late on in the first half. Marshalled well, got stuck in

Doyle 6

Not his best game and a bit scruffy with his passing.

Bidwell 5

Wasn’t great.

Eccles 5

Couldn’t get hold of the ball
And when he did it wasn’t great.

Hamer 7

Kept quiet and didn’t really get going. Corners on the whole good.

Sheaf 6

Very early on had a chance to shoot and did a Sheaf and elected to pass and lose the impetus. He’s had better games.

Godden 4

Needed to be subbed off earlier. Maybe 95 mins earlier. His jumping cracks me up, totally out of timing each and every time. Besides finishing he doesn’t offer much

Gyok 7

Battled. He keeps 2 players occupied which creates space for others. Hyam had briefed their defence on how to play him.

Subs

JWE 7

Decent in parts.

Panzo 6

Seemed to drift wide left a lot.

Kelly 6

Did most of the simple things well. Glad he’s back as an option.

Walker 6

So so

Dabo 6

Same

On reflection, we got a point away from home and stopped a direct rival getting another 2

All to play for

Bit of a shit show from our lads tonight. Nobody above a 6 tonight bar Wilson.

They were there for the taking but grew into the game as we were so meek. It was like rabbits in a headlight. Proper disappointed, thankfully other games have played in our favour so its not over yet.

5s all-around seemed we couldn't string 3 passes together Wilson an extra 3pionts for saving a defeat.
Performance wise a shocker so to come away with a point we've got to take it.
It was a shocker indeed, like they all had stage fright.

Eccles looked like he forgot how to pass or think, and Godden was just looking busy but without adding anything to the attack. Not sure what instructions Robins gave Vik either, but running the channels (maybe as a decoy) with two markers could have been exploited more.

Still can’t believe we got a point by Wilson bundling it in from 2 yards out, but I’ll take it. We’re still in the hunt. ⚽️

First half we were shocking...almost as bad as Stoke.

2nd half much much better.

Special mention to Kelly. For his first game since god knows when stamped his authority on the game as captain too.

I thought Liam Kelly had a pretty positive impact on the game last night, and looked a lot sharper than I thought he would after so long out.
Imagine he'll be starting on Saturday unless Allen or Sheaf are miraculously fit again

Yes I was surprised but he held the midfield well - I think he might start with Allen and Hamer if Allen is fit

Got more than we deserved, nobody turned up first half. Kelly was surprisingly good second and I think that helped drag the rest of the team up. Eccles had a shocker and Godden had 90 mins.
Most disappointing thing is that they were there for the taking and we didn't take the chance. If we'd won last night, we could have secured a playoff spot before the Boro game. Think we'll probably just come up short now :( but we go again..

Special mention for the quality of Hamer's corners and free kicks.

He whipped them in - needs to do both sides - esbrands were hopeless

He was really good off the ball, pressed well, won some tackles and helped organise the midfield. But he’s just so limited on the ball.

Not sure if he’ll be able to last 90 but no issue with him starting at the weekend based on last night’s performance (not the mention the fact we have no choice!).
