Every time.NGL, I'm just watching that boulder and shuffling down the hill muttering to myself.
TBF maybe the first two times I'm going downhill quickly. But after that... f~ it...Every time.
Go and watch Sunday league then , they don't have a role in modern footballId like a central midfielder who is a bit of a prick, rolls his sleeves up and gives as good as he gets. We don’t have one.
Its for the dinosaurs on here . We need another body for when Sheaf and Eccles are outWhy do we want a midfield enforcer. You can’t tackle in the game. The closest you get now will be someone who “breaks up play”. If ever plaudits were given out for basic tasks it’s for this.
Very inconsistent. He’s hit and myth.Who is this Sisyphus and what are his stats like?

Yeah, I wouldn't bother with him. Doesn't really fit the age profile and has a tendancy to lose the ball in the final third.Who is this Sisyphus and what are his stats like?
That remains to be seen now we have a new coaching set up I think, won't know guy yet!I have read somewhere that Liverpool want to keep him and therefore prefer a loan rather than selling him, so (if that is true) the RB Salzburg deal looks unlikely.
We are supposedly in for him on loan along with Sheffield United, Leeds and Norwich. I think we would be outbid on wages and loan fee.
That said, Liverpool’s main interest is likely to lie in developing a good prospect. We do have a good reputation for improving players, so I guess it’s not absolutely impossible that he could come to us.
I rather suspect that it’s unlikely though.
Im sorry but that is absolute nonsenseWe need someone who cab start attacks from deep which Eccles can’t do and Sheaf does rarely.
It is, because who in their right mind has heard of "cab start attacks?"Im sorry but that is absolute nonsense
Didn't even see that , can I call it balderdash nowIt is, because who in their right mind has heard of "cab start attacks?"
That's definitely nonsense alright.

Doesn't seem to be able to progress the ball at all. Sideways SisyphusWho is this Sisyphus and what are his stats like?

Sisyphus's punishment was chosen to match his hubris. He was convinced that he could beat the gods at their game (he already did twice before!). I'm betting each time he came so close he sprinted back down the hill convinced that this one would be the one!NGL, I'm just watching that boulder and shuffling down the hill muttering to myself.
Is Sisyphus a Norwegian slalom skier?Fuck me this forum is going downhill quicker than Sisyphus

The enforcer does not have to be dirty - I would put Gus in that category - can be a nasty little bastard but who can also play
of course Dennis wise was another - We are too nice a team, and Jamie Allen isnt going to scare my nan (and shes dead) - people will love playing against him - We need to be a team who people dont like playing against, and then we can play our football
Very difficult to scare someone who's dead, to be fair. The enforcer does not have to be dirty - I would put Gus in that category - can be a nasty little bastard but who can also play

Yeah because that's the same as elite level football. We had a 20 stone centre half, maybe we should sign one of those as wellI played Sunday league for just over 20 years. We always had one and most teams we fought against for titles had one.
Spot on !The idea of an enforcer has evolved materially from the days I played.
Who is the Man City enforcer ? Rodri ? No he’s a CDM who reads the game, intercepts, shields the defence.
Leicester went up with Winks as their CDM. He couldn’t tackle to save his life.
Sheaf plays this role for us. Our issue is we don’t have one when Sheaf is absent.
Nope, this is all just down to a poster who just can't spell syphilisIs Sisyphus a Norwegian slalom skier?
Or don't spend most of your limited money on one area (forwards) and neglect another (midfield) that's been crying out for action for a few years. All we need is an influx of world class performers in all eleven positions. And then another all the same as “back ups”. No one else is after them and money is no object for us so it shouldn’t be an issue.

Probably why they never got beyond Sunday league thenI played Sunday league for just over 20 years. We always had one and most teams we fought against for titles had one.
