Is full back a defensive or midfield position?
Fair enough.I didn’t mean you specifically, I meant generally.
whenever we sign players it’s always ‘that’s too much’
it’s not our money for one and two, trust the manager
Defensive. Is full back a defensive or midfield position?
I meant wing back hahahahDefensive.
Wing back however???
Yes I'd question 2m for Lats.I answered the 2 mil question before but shockingly you chose to ignore it. He hasn't spent it because he hadn't had the opportunity to. I'll ask you if we paid 2 mil for latibeaudiere and 500k for thomas would you even be questioning it?
I hope your right. I'd love that, same as I'd love to give Everton the add ons for Simms.I meant wing back hahahah
to be honest I’d have paid 2 million for Thomas, we’ll be selling him for 10 in a few years
Before this season obviouslyThe only players Robins has forked out over a £1m for is Sheaf, Hamer, Gyokeres.
6 posts above yours is a Barnsley fan telling you he is quality after watching him for half a seasonI feel spending close To £2M on him is a massive gamble when we hardy know anything about him, i see Burnley were quick to offer him as part of the Hamer deal along side Mcnally, if true, and suddenly we are making an offer on him, rather we had Mcnally, this Thomas guy could be shit.
People choose to ignore what they don’t want to see or hear though6 posts above yours is a Barnsley fan telling you he is quality after watching him for half a season
Yes I'd question 2m for Lats.
And I think Thomas would of been sold to a lower championship club for 500k
All of a sudden the price goes up when it's Coventry calling.
Great minds think alike…If you remember the simms deal was quoted at £8m then we found out it was 3.5 up front and we all calmed down. Nailed on it will be the same here. Chill your roll peeps.
The headline figures quoted by news outlets will always be the absolute top end, maximum fee (if they are even correct).Fair enough.
I think we got Simms for a very good price (3.5m with add ons) there is value out there.
It is the clubs money. And trusting the manager doesn't mean he's always right.
We will however support his decision, but how many people on here (if they are honest) would of paid 2million for Thomas?
And based on that, what would McNally cost?
And againGreat minds think alike…
Probably as many as that Swedish bloke we had.How many appearances has he made for the club who own him?
Who was that ?Probably as many as that Swedish bloke we had.
Remind us, did we spend 2 million on him, or did we get him in on loan and try him out in the championship first?Probably as many as that Swedish bloke we had.
I'll biteRemind us, did we spend 2 million on him, or did we get him in on loan and try him out in the championship first?
You have to laugh when someone fucks their own argument up.
That's rightI'll bite
We tried him out on loan and lots of us on here said he wasn't good enough
Thankfully the club management had better judgement than we did.
On a Coventry forum, I think that should be ‘Chill your batch peeps’Chill your roll peeps.
Remind us, did we spend 2 million on him, or did we get him in on loan and try him out in the championship first?
You have to laugh when someone fucks their own argument up.
They're all gambles to a certain extent.Speculate to accumulate....
we can afford bigger "gambles" now and the pay offs will be bigger as a result...common sense
Magnus someone?Who was that ?
Every club in the lower leagues uses loans , we aren't an exceptionWe need the squad to be full of our own players on long term contracts. The reliance on the loan market is not a progressive or affordable way to go. We should use the loan market but not rely on it to bulk your starting 11. This is another change we are seeing in the club and long may it continue.
