McSheffrey has tweeted he isn't even allowed to see the club physio and has had to go somewhere in Solihull for treatment....bit harsh as surely they are still employed?

Or that the physio has been in Holland all week and didn't get back until Monday.
mcsheffrey is content to sit out his contract rather than find another club so fuck him, hes trying to live off home town hero status but he lost that last few years
It's a disgusting way to treat someone especially a player that is still contracted to the club, but if McSheffery was offered a Pay off to go and find himself a new club and chose to see out his contract then maybe he should of just taken the money and ran.
Yep. If you're a good player or manager and you leave the club for a better deal you're a 'judas'. If on the other hand you're a player that we don't want anymore, and you don't leave when you're told to, you're a waster.
When you've got a squad as thin as ours, with the embargo likely to go on into the start of the season, it seems daft to me to alienate (or injure) any of your squad. Poor management, imho.
Maybe he wants to try and force his way back into the managers plans?
Disgusting way to treat any player let alone one who has given the majority of his career to the club.
bell is goneWho exactly is in the Bomb Squad? Sheffers, Edge, Bell? Anyone else?
bell is gone
Yeah I knew that but he was part of this bomb squad wasn't he.
I agree, but if he told he wasn't needed and was offered a pay off and didn't accept it, can you then explain what reason there would be for him to stick around?

His contract?
His reasoning on Twitter as to why he didn't take the offer and stick out the 2 years was to keep having the income to look after his daughter & pay his bills, which is a fair comment.... if he hadn't earn't £20k a week at Blues for 3 years and £10K a week at CCFC for god knows how many years before that.

Compare and contrast mcSheff attitude with that of say Carl Baker who regularly pays for private treatment to ensure he is back to fitness asap.....
That's fair enough but you would think Sheffers would have enough money to take a contract release fee...
Do you think that SISU would offer him anywhere near any 'contractual' release fee? With their negotiation skills in the 'do what we tell you at the price we say..' I can't imagine the club's offer will be anywhere near contractual obligations.
The way the bomb squad have been treated, they're right just to wait and see what happens. If the club's payroll is so generous that we can afford to have well paid players not involved in the squad then so be it.
Before long Fisher will be moaning that there isn't enough money for a competitive team because of the cost of the bomb squad.
I was wondering if it was anything to do with the team being on tour and the physio being there?
