Ok let’s just get to some of the gist of it here

Jamie Allen is a poundshop Callum O hare.

Liam Kelly is a Poundland Gustavo Hamer

next season pound shop will still be here the luxury end will be gone

That’s it really isn’t it

I sincerely hope if that's the case MR and the recruitment team are given a decent wedge to rebuild, not just 2 mil.

Lads we lost to a team with a few players who probably cost more than our squad did and are bankrolled by an oligarch.

This season has had more ups than downs. If you'd said to me in August we could of technically been in the play off race in April we'd all have taken it.

Onwards and upwards and all that

And you know that for a fact do you. Silly question of course you do, you are always right. You already know who is going and who is coming in. You also know the budget

Both still paying significantly more on wages than us.

So are Birmingham - not relevant really - also given better days revelation I’d assume we are about with millwall surely

I don't know the budget, but would I likely be correct in assuming it will be comparitively low?

Beaten by a better, far richer team. Disappointing but we were in the play-off picture until today - this time last year we were pulling away from a relegation battle. 62 points from 43 games is good progress compared to last season.

The big battle won't be the remaining games - that will be in the summer, trying to hold onto our better players, and I suspect our manager.

Liam Kelly is in no way a similar player to Hamer so pointless comparing. Why not just be pleased that a player who has given so much to our progress has got back to fitness.

It's slightly relevent.

Look at how clinical Solanke was. Couldn't imagine Gyökeres being the same.

We look knackered and having a small squad is part of the issue.

hes not good enough and it seems is one of the highest paid players - he needs managing out the club

It’s a pretty sure idea that we will never be top half in terms of investment, under the current regime. Laughable that it’s even being questioned.

Can't escape the fact it was a really disappointing performance. We were well below par. Nothing to do with salaries, seems to be the go to excuse.

Yes they are a better side, but this obsession some have with how much money players earn, it's no excuse for not turning up.

That said, season has been a good one but is now over. Would be nice to finish top half though. Not need for hysterics, we go again.

Sorry I thought I was asking Grendel. But there’s lots of assumptions, for people negativity

Negativity or just having realistic expectations of our owners, given their track record?

Please don't misunderstand my posts. I'm not negative, I just realise it's very difficult for managers and recruitment teams to get the right balance of players even without limited funds.

I can't see us keeping a couple of the better ones, and they will be very very difficult to replace.

I really hope we do though.

We did this year and had a good season

Issue is keeping better players and if we do sell replacing them you can see why people worry we could do a “Barnsley” hopefully SISU give robins 10m though & we can push but let’s be real it’s not happening

We were good as an attacking team in the first half
