Absolutely agree but it's the number of expected signings i am questioning. Say we sign this Sterling lad for RB, another CM and an additional striker that gives us greatly increased depth and allows fringe players like Haynes to move on or be loaned out. I can't see us then signing another 3 on top of that, unless, as i say, we loose key players from the existing squad (Willis for example).That thought about returning injured players gets trotted out every season, the problem is that usually someone else gets injured.
A few squad injuries are something that have to be managed, but the main thing is to have sufficient squad depth to deal with whatever happens.
