A shrewd signing, depending on what wage he's on. He's underachieved in his career so far but even at 29 he's got a higher ceiling of potential than BTA. I fancy CC to get the best out of him and quite a few of our fans to be eating their words by the end of the season.

Let’s just worry about this season first mate? HahaI think it’s good to be looking ahead tbh and although I think Asante is a great signing it’ll be interesting to see what happens next season if we sell Simms, Haji or Van Ewijk. I can’t see all of them being here next season, they’ve already proven to be quality at this level and it’s only been one season so far.
It’s the main reason I’d like another RB tbh, not only for rotation, but also so that the player has chance to “gel” with us before we sell Van Ewijk for a decent profit (can only assume that’s what will happen at some point soon).
