lmfao, listen son, apart from 3 years that i played the game at coventry sporting club, and 7 years in scottish div 1, and div2. I was a st holder at hr and ricoh for the combined time of approx 30 years...followed cov all over britain, and even went to bayern munich to watch us play....trakia plovdiv game was just a tad too expensive to travel to.
I refuse to go to the ricoh while sisu are there, but travel to all away games at considerable expense to me seeing as i now live in south wales. Missed 2 away games this season, and none over the last 3 seasons.
So when you pay my expenses to travel, then you can say i'm not a city supporter. Ok!:jerkit:

Sky blue blood in your veins eh ccfc4life lol ;)
Seriously though, it does depress me when anyone claims to be more of a fan than someone else...we are all in it together, we just have different opinions

Would someone explain to me how I can put covcity4life on 'ignore' please?

I used to be able to just have a chuckle at such blinkered drivel, however it's starting to get tedious now.

Final order enabling ACL to collect is May 2nd. Season last game April 27th Notts County. VERY STRANGE

Thats actually quite clever because it means the money seized is frozen till then which makes things a problem for SISU whether to fund for several months or not rather than days. But also it means that no action will be taken further until the season is over so the fans get their games and CCFC can still earn income possibly even push for promotion (unlikely imo though). In the meantime CCFC pay match day costs of around £10k per game which is a big chunk of the rent per game based on £400k rent. It gives time for proper discussions to resume rather than knee jerk reactions. CCFC honour their league fixtures - which keeps the FL on side

ACL have a business to run and have every right legal or otherwise to take action to recover what is due .........But of course ACL dont want CCFC there do they, never think of the fans, are dumb arent they ....... seems to me like another clever move based on wanting ccfc at the ricoh.

Oh and there is still time and possibility of mitigating the value of what they collect..... just because it says £1.3m doesnt mean £1.3m is needed to settle this

Does this mean we can't bring a manager in???

no ..... none of this stops CCFC conducting business in a normal manner ...... just means that income they expected is applied to specific debts of ACL rather than put in the CCFC pot ....... it may affect what we can pay a new manager though because cashflow will be affected

I wonder whether Crewe have been paid their JPT money? Does it go direct to them or via FL?

Thats what I thought! As we don't have one, and don't have a few more members of staff, surely that means what goes out today is the limit??? Or would it be more about the budget????

IMO - because the club went cap in hand to bale them out of the stadium debacle, they were shafted on the initial commercials within the Ricoh deal, not in a position to play hardball more idiotic financial management by the club allowed other income sources to be sold for short-term gain.

SISU's opportunity to really re-negotiate the terms was prior to the acquisition they chose to ignore this at their peril, crowds have dropped, FFP has gone against them, they are struggling with a dog of an investment that has not got fleas. Their primary interest is to try to reduce their losses, they won't do this without a lot of luck (promotion) or clever financial wizadry like hedge funds do elsewhere. Talk of the warwickshire stadium is a joke, more bluff the council / ACL clearly don't trust them and I'm sure if there were different owners the council / ACL would be more accommodating.

I think that must have been it. It's the Local Government thing. Gets me every time.

And in terms of suffering the consequences from their ridiculous, undemocratic, ill-conceived ideas, you've been under their jackboot for a hell of a lot longer than I have! Come back in April when the weekend allowance goes, that might have embittered me enough to agree with you..bloody councillors...

When hard-nosed becomes illegal and threatens the very existence of our club; I think that's the tipping point when most of a reasonable mind change their allegiances

It was widely reported that they had been criticised in the high-court already, yet the ones who are now the most anti-SISU didn't see this as a problem and were proud of our owners.

Those who dared to question or criticise SISU were branded as traitors.

IMHO, that's exactly what you were saying...you said that Sky Blue Kid wasn't even a city fan, just because he didn't share your views.
You really cant go around saying someone isn't a real fan because they hold different opinions...that just smacks of immaturity.
