Meeting next week in Westminster between Wasps, council and CCFC with SoS Jeremy Wright.
No deal struck for Ricoh or talks until Sisu drops legal.
No deal struck for Ricoh or talks until Sisu drops legal.
Does this indicate a slight softening of Wasps stance? They've refused to meet the club, refused Coventry Cathedrals mediation offer but have said yes to this.
You’d hope so, everyone benefits from CCFC remaining at the RICOH in the short term.
There seemed to be a lot of people assuming they wouldn't file accounts and therefore the club would have an embargo and that a groundshare would be a no go with the EFL.You’d hope so, everyone benefits from CCFC remaining at the RICOH in the short term.
I think the EFL mite extend the deadline by a week to allow the meeting to take place too.....Does this indicate a slight softening of Wasps stance? They've refused to meet the club, refused Coventry Cathedrals mediation offer but have said yes to this.
I think Wasps and CCC will have indepenent witnesses as to how hard it is trying to deal with Susi personally i dont think Sisu will even turn up.Does this indicate a slight softening of Wasps stance? Rolling in shitput the club on a rolling one year deal, maybe even with an annual increase in rent, say 10%, until the legals are over.
Rolling in shit
As much as fucking can’t stand those bastards called SISU somebody needs to remind W****s that the legal won’t stop even if the put CCFC out of business. Killing the club will turn into W****s despised joke of an outfit into a hated despised outfit and will badly effect any hope of a foothold in the city.I really can’t wait until the London parasites leave us alone
do they ?, surely if they club have to go elsewhere for a 2nd time and lose further income, it is a larger claim should SISU win a court case in the future ?
I know for a fact W****s have had a blow to there finances next year off the pitch and interesting a W****s ‘die hard’ said today at work there Not renewing there season ticket next year. There going to struggle to stay up next season from what I hear.Wasps aren’t in that strong of a position. On the field, results are getting worse and key players are wanting to leave, things could get worse next season. Off the field, they’re in debt, their losses are increasing and if attendances decrease because the team is doing badly — things could easily take a turn for the worst there. I’m no expert on Wasps or indeed finances as a whole, so my knowledge is pretty limited here.
I’m not so sure Wasps can actually afford to run CCFC out of town.
The thing is, I've been told by two people very close to all this that a deal for up to 5 years is already done. Everything we are seeing now is about saving face and about all sides not wanting to be seen to have backed down. Just get on and announce it so that all the hand-wringing can stop.
How many people watch wasps anyway?
theferret has been reliable in the past iirc. Not an unlikely scenario is it?
Heard something similar but from someone who saod he spoke to a player & they had a meeting stating a deal was going to be done true or not who knows...The thing is, I've been told by two people very close to all this that a deal for up to 5 years is already done. More info in this thread.
And more radio interviews
So he says a meeting next week is being held but no change of stance regarding talks till legal date dropped...
Surely a meeting is talks no ?
and Fisher's 'we've moved on' and 'building a new stadium'....just for balanceThere seemed to be a lot of people assuming they wouldn't file accounts and therefore the club would have an embargo and that a groundshare would be a no go with the EFL.
Accounts filed and signs a groundshare is already being discussed. Maybe their constant claims they don't need the club are similar to Lucas constant 'washing its face' comments.
Perhaps the 5 year deal, if true, is ready to go the moment the legal action stops. If the appeal fails a few days before the deadline, no negotiations are needed because they'd already have been done, and it's just a case of announcing it. Doesn't mean any stances have changed, just that a caveated deal is ready to go.
