Stick with Lats and Binks for a bit. We know Thomas and Kitching can play together and there were promising signs vs Oxford. Unless we get Worrall ofc

Will be making a weekend of it in South Wales, as my brother lives there, and I get to see my baby nephew again. Hopefully will be cracking open an early celebratory beer not long after the final whistle!

As for the game, I think first half last season away at Bristol City was one of, if not our best, performance last season, and could/should have been 3-0 up before they got a set piece and went in at HT 1-0 up (was a cracking cross, to be fair). Second half, Pearson's earlier change to bring another player into the midfield killed the game.

I personally would love a win, keep the momentum, but would maybe settle for a draw, depending how the game unfolded, of course. Thomas in for Lati would be my only change, presuming Sheaf is not fit to start, which I highly doubt he will.

I feel like Thomas and Kitching were played against them in the cup so they could have a proper look at them and get some familiarity for the league game so they'll come back in. I think they're our best partnership and they will play the tougher games.

MR went with Binks and Lati at home to Oxford as he thought he could get away with our second choices and to be fair we did (just)

Thomas for Lati please. I'd also be tempted to bring Dasilva in for Bidwell at this point.

He said at last nights meet the players he hopes to play a couple of games before international break. Considering there are only 3 games before then....

Yeah I got the impression that he's targetting the cup game as a way of getting minutes into his legs. Although didn't @Saddlebrains suggest he might get half hour on Saturday?

Robins will keep the same team I would think. I would probably prefer Kitching over Binks (for this game anyway), but Robins rarely drops players for tactical reasons. I'd like to see Dasiva get the LB role for home games when we're on the front foot, but away from home in a flat back 4 would be a big gamble. Bidwell always starts seasons slowly, but we'll need his defensive know-how especially if Haji is playing LF. I think Sheaf starts if he's anywhere near fitness (for Torp). Give him 60 mins. We need Simms to start, as he's the only one who can hold the ball up.

No chance at all Sheaf starts this

Should get on the bench and get 20 mins

Given that this thread will probably be most looked at for the next few days.
Does anyone know where you can buy the City scarf "we'll live and die in these towns".
It's for my nephews birthday, he still lives in Coventry.
I noticed one on the replay of the Oxford match.
Thanks guys.

LImited run only available in the shop. 200 made apparently. I'm hoping they are still available next Saturday as I want one.
