Yes if I had it my way I’d have Stokes in the team, but whilst Stokes is better defensively the attacking side to his game is very poor. Mind you, the same could be said about Haynes!Stokes is far better as a defender. He is better at covering centre backs when they are stretched, he is more disciplined at keeping position and far stronger and more powerful in the air.

This was shown when he was bottling tackles and headers at Newport.I rate Stokes above Haynes too and I’d rather he played. O'Brien is shite as well. Burge has improved a fair bit he's just too error prone.OBrien needs to start on Saturday for me. I honestly don't understand how plain it is to see that none of our keepers are good enough. That's been the case for about 3 or 4 seasons now, yet manager after manager after manager sticks with poor keepers. For all the Burge supporters I just don't see it. Yes, he made a couple of decent saves on Friday, but that's what's he's paid to do, you can't look past his mistakes all the while claiming made a decent save 3 weeks ago. He needs to go in the summer, as does OB as does Oggy. Burge hasn't improved AT ALL in about 4 seasons. The goalkeeper coach has to shoulder some of that blame.
