Yeah he’s thought he can flick it through to Sheaf and he’s put too much on it, I don’t think Carr would complain about him trying to make that pass rather than lumping it clear or trying to switch it.

Like I say I try not to unpick every goal too much right now. We are conceding so many poor goals right now with mistakes across the board. There’s far bigger defensive issues than individuals right now. Binks Lats MvE and Thomas also all made mistakes in the build up, arguably Collins could have got down quicker for one, etc etc.

When in doubt sometimes the better option, especially when you look at the amount of players that were around him. Sheffield were actually hugely disorganised defensively at this point so to be honest it could've actually led to something.

I agree though collectively we're making far too many mistakes. We need to work on the fundamentals and get back to basics as the errors are so rudimentary.

I don’t want to tempt fate, but Burnley have really struggled for goals this season, especially at home. They are there for the taking if we can get a goal.

Pragmatically, I reckon it’ll be 1-1 draw.

With the first goal I look more at the phase leading up to Hamer receiving the ball. Torps on someone, Sheaf is pressing the pass but Eccles has allowed Hamer to drop into space. Binks then engages Hamer opening up the space to play the ball leaving Dasilva in trouble.

For me that’s an organisation issue in midfield. The best player in that position has been allowed to peel away alone between the lines.

Second goal is a mistake from Dasilva to play the ball into trouble - I’d argue that’s uncharacteristic of him though. For me those positions under pressure are actually his overwhelming strength.

Was a poor ball from Dasilva but that kind of thing will happen multiple times per game, you can't blame him for the goal.

Watching it back, could Milan have done more? He doesn't even get into a full sprint trying to get back. And Lati is like a statue defending the man that actually scores, he runs all the way around him.
Exactly what I said! Lati should have gone closer to him so he could tackle but seemed to hold a line which allowed the attacker to cut in

I'd take that. I know you can't keep drawing games but 3 draws against 3 of the top 4, 2 of which were away is a good base to build from.

Though, as ever, I'm hopeful of more

I've just read that they've conceded 6 goals in 16 games. Wtf am I bothering to travel 🙃

We always look like conceding at least 1, so think we need to be on the scoresheet at least once to get something here.
Lets hope with realistic expectation levels we can surprise a few people.

Bidwell looked very rusty. I can't see us risking him. I may be wrong though of course.
I don't think he looked fit to be honest... seemed like he was forced on due to Dasilva needing to come off, we now have two crocked left backs. Back to the Rudoni/Kitching left back experiment? 😬

If you think Dasilva played worse than Bidders then im not sure there’s a productive conversation to be had here.
It's simple, Bidders looked shit for the 8 or 9 minutes he was on. (In his first game back from injury, and with minimal time to warm up).
where as Dasilva looks shit in every game he plays, he's a week link in an allready poor defence, and is constantly targeted by opponents who've obviously done their homework on us.
