You’ll be able to get behind Mark Robins and the team he is putting together every other week down the road from you in Rotherham by Christmas...
For me, the train.
I'm just sorry it's not the lurve train. Is it time to crank out the Wembley Special again, Otis?
Must be brilliant having your own train, bit of a nightmare for parking though I'd guess.
Not buying a season ticket now but will be up for thisFirst home game of the season at St Andrews everybody needs to get there backside to our new home ground and support Mark Robins and the team he is putting together. Show MR we are all behind his team before he has second thoughts on moving on
If anybody needs help getting to the game in anyway, I am happy to help.
Let's get a 20k gate and show all associated with CCC and Wasps we are the mighty CCFC and we carry on and prosper despite them.
PUSB.
I wonder what Birmingham will be charging us for rent.As for St Andrew's, I genuinely believe we'll be made to feel more welcome there than we are currently at the Ricoh.
And if the money can't go direct to the club, then I'd rather my stadium spend went into Blues pockets than those conniving, slimy bastards that run the insects.
Bollocks to Wasps, SISU, and the Council, the club is bigger than all of them, and I'm supporting it.
I only hope that those fans with money in their pockets spend it at Cov Rugby then. The biggest blow to Wasps would be if Cov started attracting more of the Rugby fans in the locality. CRFC need to get off their arses now and hype up their marketing.First game, unless there is a massive away following, will be about 5,000 tops I think.
So many are saying they will not be attending games at St. Andrews and despite what some have said on here, other commitments and the added time and cost is a big factor for so many people.
I know some City fans who have to really weigh up whether they can afford to go to a game or not anyway.
The only way this could be made more inviting is in having a big drop in ST and ticket prices, but I really cannot see that happening in view of the expected massive drop in attendances.
And I really do think once it's the 3,000 or whatever, then the factions and fallouts between the fans going and the fans not going is going to get intensely nasty.
My other fear is that Wasps attendances increase. Wasps are surely now going to target those City fans with money in their pockets, but who either refuse, or cannot attend St. Andrews.

But then if it is a low rent and Sisu are very comfortable with the situation, what incentive is there then for them to get a new stadium built, considering that is something that they simply do not do.
Obviously as fans, we want the club to be as financially stable as possible, but with no faith in the EFL, the last thing we want is for our owners to be completely comfortable with a groundshare long term.
I know it's been said before, and I don't know if CRFC would want to be 'involved' but I'd be game for as many as possible of us turning up for a Cov game early in the season as a protest / highlighting who the proper rugby team in the city is.I only hope that those fans with money in their pockets spend it at Cov Rugby then. The biggest blow to Wasps would be if Cov started attracting more of the Rugby fans in the locality. CRFC need to get off their arses now and hype up their marketing.
The only issue I have with that is endording their collaboration with Cov Utd and David Johnsons cronies. They'll be after our fans saying watch football in the City to our only team. Tbh I'd rather protest at Wasps than support Cov rugbyI know it's been said before, and I don't know if CRFC would want to be 'involved' but I'd be game for as many as possible of us turning up for a Cov game early in the season as a protest / highlighting who the proper rugby team in the city is.
There are already people giving it the "go and watch them instead". Them and sphinx will be all over it.The only issue I have with that is endording their collaboration with Cov Utd and David Johnsons cronies. I reckon a few will be gutted if robins is there come the first game of the season the way they are trying to hype up him leaving. Will robins still be there come the first game, and it will probably be on a Friday night or a Sunday no chance of 20 k be more like 3k
I'm surprised CRFC want anyone else messing up the pitch. I can't believe they pay a lot of have much of a support to buy F& B !The only issue I have with that is endording their collaboration with Cov Utd and David Johnsons cronies. They'll be after our fans saying watch football in the City to our only team. Tbh I'd rather protest at Wasps than support Cov rugby
He didn't have an issue with it before he annoyed the council.Cov rugby have no bones with CCFC , the City scores are announced as each goal goes in. Many fans support both Coventry clubs. Jon Sharp didn't want to get mixed up with SISU and who could blame him but that wasn't against the football club. Everyone hates the lying wankers !
Will be there, so should all true sky blues... f**k WaspsFirst home game of the season at St Andrews everybody needs to get there backside to our new home ground and support Mark Robins and the team he is putting together. How did he annoy the council ?!He didn't have an issue with it before he annoyed the council.
Could be advantageous too if City's games are on Sundays and Cov's on Saturdays.I know it's been said before, and I don't know if CRFC would want to be 'involved' but I'd be game for as many as possible of us turning up for a Cov game early in the season as a protest / highlighting who the proper rugby team in the city is.
I tend to agree, for me cost sometimes is hard to justify, I have to travel close on a 60mile round trip just for a home match this now will be over 100miles, I support when money allows.First game, unless there is a massive away following, will be about 5,000 tops I think.

It's a fair point. Tags a longer journey on coming from the south and obviously the train fare is more if you are coming up from London etc.I tend to agree, for me cost sometimes is hard to justify, I have to travel close on a 60mile round trip just for a home match this now will be over 100miles, I support when money allows.

When he promised them he wouldn't do a groundshare with ccfc then submitted a proposal that included a groundshare with ccfc. How did he annoy the council ?!

That bit doesn't get mentioned much as it doesn't fit the narrative.
He would never have worked with sisu though.

That's the pr job. So many fans are seemingly clueless about things.I’ve decided the best course of action is to now find the exact references to these types of things. People need to be educated/reminded of things that have gone on (in a non-patronising sense). There are so many segments of the story that have been theoretically erased from history that the facts need re-stating.

You have ex council leaders and fans groups working together on statements to rewrite history as well.
Of course! How many train tickets will you buy?For me, the train.
Fair enough, I've just read that now. Must have been abroad first time around. He would never have worked with sisu though.
