I love statements like this, because it could be about any position and any team in the country. 😊

Absolutely , and the teams that address the positional weaknesses are the most successful

I’m a big fan of Bidwell but he’s the wrong side of 30 and will need replacing at some point. A few times last year looked caught out for pace by the opposition.

If we could afford burrows I'm sure we would replace bidwell , we can't.

I actually think we will see more of dasilva this season 💁‍♂️

Sheff Utd have horrible little rat fans that will only give it when they outnumber you, have no humour about them and support a team whose tactic has been to be a bunch of cloggers for about 40 years.

Fuck them.
Bang on.

Bidwell has 400 games at this level alwasy in teams that have generally competed for the play offs - McCallum has only had 1 decent season at this level with us. Good player but no evidence that he's better than Bidwell.
Obviously McCallum is much younger so won’t have the games played.

We’re talking about how good they are right now- McCallum played plenty of mins for a playoff side last season while we finished 9th. He has much more about him going forward than Bidwell.

And yet they’re still preferable to Sheff Weds.

I might have respected O'Hare more if he had done a farewell video for the fans like Vik and Gus did thanking the club and fans and not just buggered off.

Hmmm…
Well, I hope if we do Dasilva has improved on last year/grown a bit. I’ve actually always thought JDS is a decent footballer. He was shocking at times though.

We took JDS and Palmer on frees from Bristol City.

You didn't see our fans acting the twat to them like Sheffield United are doing with us.

Fucking horrible club. Them, Blunderland and Birmingham Shitty make me physically unwell. Leicester are more of a joke, happy clapping bellends.
Sunderland fans are something else. Of all the many teams I spoke to out in my month out in Germany. It was only a group of Sunderland fans that gave it large about our plight as a club. Apparently we shoulda been ‘chucked out the league’ and made a low blow about Jimmy being in a box.

In what started, in my mind, as a bit of friendly banter turned quite bitter and nasty from his end. The worst thing was that he was an older lad and the younguns around him were the sound ones.

Gave the usual spiel about how they’re the biggest club in the league and so on. They’re just a boring fan base with no real grounding in reality. The best way to deal with them is to sarcastically pay them on the head, tell they’re right so they can carry on living in cuckoo land.

The soundest Sunderland fans I’ve ever met have been southerners which is telling in my view.

The rivalry with Sunderland is actually quite funny because they simply cannot beat us and it seems to make them slightly more deranged every single time.

Big club my arse

Go have a look at their crowds before 2007 and their promotion back to the top flight..

They've not won a trophy for 100 years

The only reason they've a higher all time average than city is because we were pillaged for 15 years

Sheffield wednesday far bigger
Are we bigger than them ? No.

This has been raked up by the internet in recent years . Never really existed 15 years ago. A grudge held only by some of those who were around in the 1970s but passed on to a younger generation courtesy of social media bollocks. Lots were not even born until the millennium. It's still small scale . You only hear from those who mouth off about it. The majority have moved on.

Sod O'hare, a good move for him but may not be for Sheffield united if he takes another injury, if Doug is serious about promotion, then sign Chair from QPR, in my opinion the missing link to our midfield, especially now is prison sentence has been reduced to community service.
