Of course he didn't accept that, why would he when he could get twice as much somewhere else? On top of that, Robins continually left him on the bench in favour of Palmer. MR wanted O'hare to stay, C.O. was on £10k a week and DK offered £11k which was instantly rejected. The offer eventually got increased to £12k a week take it or leave it, but by that time O'hare's agent had received offers from other championship sides of double that offer so the club were informed that CO was leaving. (This all happened before Rudoni was signed)

Apparently AV was fuming that we hadn't made an effort to keep O'hare, and he and DK had a blazing row, DK said that we'd paid O'hare a fortune over the 12 months that he was injured and was reluctant to end up in a Jodie Jones situation.

That's what I've been told, if you choose not to believe it that's fine, if you'd sooner I not post what I've heard then just say so and I'll keep it to myself, but I don't need some random total bell end like @shepard01 giving me grief over info I've offered to genuine fans.

Incidentally, DK got Oly Dovins transfer fee halved, in order to meet his wage demands which apparently put him up there with the highest paid players at the club.

His form fell off a cliff from January onwards, so he got benched. He’s also not fooling anyone if they think that Sheff Utd was his preferred destination all along-as with Hamer they were probably the only show in town.

Doesn’t make us better off with another year of Kasey Palmer though.

He's in his first week there, would be odd for him to say it was a contract dispute why he left and he's there now for the pay rise. I don't know why this has been taken as gospel from Dawkins. The same man who claimed callum turned down 100 grand a week in the MLS.
