There’s not to say there’s even one. If I aren’t 2k per week, never mind 15k, I would honestly say I couldn’t give a shit what anyone says on this site. Unless you can provide proof then what I’ve said will stand. People only report what they see on the pitch and it’s an honest assessment from each individual person. When players/the team don’t perform (consistently) they deserve to be called out. We pay their wages.

we’re 7th, so perhaps those comments might be what they need to read

I know some player who reads this site…..let them read more….im interested in the top 6 …let’s kiss their asses when they play poor…nope….football fan forum. It goes with the territory
You never get any more interesting Boosh

We need him to be on form to give us a better chance of top 6, that much is obvious. If he still needs to be in the shop window for his move he’ll get the ultimate stage for that in the cup, personally I think he’s known his destination for a fair while and so can get by on 6/10 rather than 8 or 9/10 performances until the season’s up.

No disrespect to the player at all in saying that, he’s hardly the first player to see his form dip in this type of scenario

How was Palmer today and vs. Wolves?

You're in a rickety greenhouse on this one.

Not really - I’ve only seen two threads ever on here which question a players commitment to the club

He’s not been dropped at all , he comes off the bench as an impact player. Palmer is running his arse off and Cal comes on to continue the press . It’s all about a team not one individual!

Semantics aside, he has been dropped to the bench. He was first name on the team sheet a few weeks ago. Robins has 100% got an eye on next season and Palmer is having a crack because of that.

Whether the situation has contributed to his perceived poor form, or the manager is deciding to concentrate and invest in players who will be here next season who knows.

Suppose it could be as simple as sticking to a winning formula, as Robins has previous for sticking with a winning team even if it's not always been the right call.

Let's hope O'Hare has his head straight as I have no doubt if the season is to end in success we will need a vital contribution from him at some point.

I don’t think COH is out of form per se, Palmer is just performing better. Without sounding to critique COH, his goal scoring run was out of the norm for his career (to date).

I doubt that he’s downed tools, Palmer is playing better than him atm.

Horse shit , I know a player that comes on here , only one but that’s not to say there’s more . ( curiosity) . So be careful what you all say , it’s not nice .

Robins has 100% got an eye on this season. Whilst we still have a chance of promotion he'll do what's best for the team now. Palmer has simply been better recently, there doesn't have to be a conspiracy theory for everything.

Hardly a conspiracy theory. It’s reasonable to say that he’s favouring Palmer over O’Hare if he’s made it clear he’s off in the summer.

Palmer has played brilliantly and doesn’t deserve to be dropped. That said, if you’re a championship team going for promotion you find a place in your team for O’Hare.

He doesn't get in currently as the players ahead of him are performing better .
Would be interesting to see if his "drop off in form" coincided with Saka getting injured as they had a good understanding?

Who would you drop for O'Hare?

Well I’d play him ahead of Palmer every day of the week.

Not saying Palmer isn’t playing brilliantly, but he is a bit of a flat track bully. Against Leeds and Southampton we need O’Hare at full tilt.

He’s doing fine in his sub appearances but much harder to make an influence in 20 mins. Palmer adding consistency to his ability has left Ohare on the bench which is fine. In an ideal world you’d have both on the pitch but that hasn’t really worked

So what do we reckon?

Downed tools?
Heads not in it?
Just in shit form?

Came back with a bang in December and looked unreal but apart from his good play getting the ball across to Simms for the winner at Wolves, he's dipped massively below expectations for a good while now hasnt he?

Why do you think?
He's been fine, stop speculating rubbish

Good job you're not manager then

You play whoever is in form and performing, at the moment that is Palmer .
Like has been said earlier having 3 quick players lends itself to Palmers early passing ability , something which he is better than O'Hare at

You constantly spout negative bollocks.Dont you ever tire of it?
I've just flicked through the first 7 or 8 pages of the Recruitment's been shite thread.

I would genuinely delete my account if I'd posted the amount of hogwash you have.
If you happy for Grendel to post on this forum you really have no right to go for saddlebrains???

It was always a risk after his injury. He could have gone down the non league, but we stuck by him and he came back fighting. However, other than vs Wolves he's stepped off the gas after January.

It will be hard to lose him on a free considering what we got for Hamer and Gyokeres but he was a huge risk after his ACL.

Personally my opinion has changed and that we’re picking the in form player which at the moment is Palmer, and at the same time focusing on the future which O’hare’s is clearly not with us and I wish him all the best and that he sets himself up well for the future as he’s a top guy and hope he does well for himself

Would be interesting to see if he got injured again long term, whether he'd sign our contract or whether the club would withdraw it?

Ok Martin, please ease off the gas slightly. O’Hare>Palmer isn’t a controversial opinion. And it’s not like O’Hare can’t play on the break and combine well with other players.

I’m not slagging Palmer, and it moves away from my original point. If O’Hare had signed a new deal in Jan, I think Robins would have found a place for him in the line up. Find it strange that this is being taken as if a crazy/niche pov.

I don't even know what this means.
But while I disagree with Grendel on certain things he's certainly not responsible for a never rending stream of negativity like Saddlebrains.

As I said in an earlier post, look at his contribution to the recruitment's been shite thread and what he's posted about Simms and Wright.

He's not the only one but whenever there's threads of those sorts he's always involved and is every season.

He's quite entitled to post what he wants, but I'm entitled to respond as well

Don't think anyone's saying don't criticise them.
But let's keep it realistic, even hinting that one of out top performers ofcthe last few seasons has downed tools is cuntish.
People can disagree, I stand by it.

Although they nominally play in a similar position, they are completely different players and have very different strengths. Can you imagine COH driving forward at pace and playing that pass to Milan for second goal? No chance. Can you imagine COH doing some of the daft things Kasey does and giving the ball away too often? Unlikely.
At the moment Kasey is affecting games more but that can soon change. We need both of them at different times, let’s just enjoy them both.

I'm sure he'd still be a massive player and a nailed on starter if it weren't for Palmers excellent form of late.

Thank god he's still here and available for the run in and the semi final where he'll undoubtedly fill in for the suspended palmer
The thing is, O’Hare seems to have lost some shine. He’s no longer the person to watch in the team.

I think he was the person but others are now operating at a better level so he doesn’t look the same. He lifted us massively on his return, we weren’t great before that, now others are lifting us and he is still playing a huge part in the games we’ve played and still to play.
