Don't blame him really! Take the money as it will set him up for life. Just come back from an ACL so might be susceptible to another. I would have been devastated if he had signed for us and then got another one. Took Jodie Jones 4 years plus to get back to some sort of level to play again

I am not one to "abuse" players, the only players I actually care about are those sporting the Coventry City badge.

With that being said, if O'Hare moved to Leicester, I would not blame him, as he shouldn't blame me for hoping he lingers on the bench like the turd he would be...

Leicester makes perfect sense for him. A shot at the prem, huge wages and doesn't need to move.

It's OK saying that he should stay and finish the job with us, but there's no guarantee that we get to the prem in the next few years.

If be doesn't move to the prem now, he's unlikely to get another opportunity.

Even if it doesn't work out, either because he isn't good enough or because he misses daddy Robins, he's set up for life, on 3/4 x the wages. Its a no brainer really if we are honest.

That said - its still a shitter if he chooses to go to a local rival on a free and I won't blame anyone for not welcoming him back with open arms.
Agree with every word of this. Can't blame him for going for all those reasons, but I'm still gonna hate him if he goes there. It's just football rivalry, pure and simple.

Leicester would be very appealing to him.
Wouldn't have to move house.
Biggest wage offer.
Better day to day environment than Southampton.
Obviously our fan base would not be impressed, but take away the sentiment and this move would makes sense for him.

Kind of agree with the above bar your 4th point. Not sure how you quantify what the day to day environments are like in both clubs?!

I used to work at SFC - whilst I think Soton folk are a bit different (maybe the local Pompey lot have got to me...) the club is well run, great structure and doing alright. Arguably a better place than Leicester to be fair with the charges hanging over Leicester.

And it's easier to get to the isle of wight.

I wouldn't mind who he chose. He'll do what's best for himself. If it were me though I'd go to Southampton. Lovely down there and some nice places to live.

Maybe COH needs a new agent. Dint sign with us as wanted to play prem (possibly wages too). No firm offers linked up during the season. Now a free transfer and no one in the prem appears to want the risk.

So looking sideway for a champ move.

Either his wages are unrealistic or his injury record is putting people off

O'Hare playing in a Wilder team would be mad. He'd spend every weekend getting bollocked for something or other and hate it.

Fingers crossed then !

Sheff Utd are skint.
But no doubt have some decent earners there after Prem vacation. Shift one of them and bring in a freebie on similar money makes good sense.

Sheff Utd are skint.

They have shed 16 from last year's squad so will have freed up budget. The hold up is with the takeover as the new owners can't authorise anything until it is complete. It doesn't mean they can't have things in place ready to go though.
