I think O'Hare was given a deadline to sign by and missed it. There is a chance he'll end up signing elsewhere for less to be honest as he's now in a weaker bargaining position than he was.
I seriously doubt that. He'll easily get offered 20k+ by somebody.

I would still have him back. I would guess his promise of Southampton has gone up the pictures now they have got promoted and want and need better.

Hamer & McCallam were always at our games last season when it did not
clash with them playing. I doubt O’hare will move house as an easy commute to Sheffield so he will probably attend games to in his mate Dawkins box. I’d be pretty pissed off if I was Utd fan and 3 of the first team constantly went to watch their old team.
Can O'Hare drive?

Honestly don't think Sheffield Utd will finish above 7th this season. They need to rebuild and I don't think there's a good atmosphere at the club.

If he ends up there it’s honestly fucking tragic.

Big it up all you like, but COH, McCallum, Moore honestly doesn’t scare me. Rudoni and Simms will prove to be/already are better players and Bidwell is solid enough.

Plus odds on all three of those signed players staying fit all season?!

I wouldn't. From a management perspective it makes things quite difficult. If what Saddle has said is true, and I can believe it, he's been playing Billy Big Bollocks for months. Introducing that back into a squad is unlikely to work.

I would think it is best for all parties that everyone moves on regardless at this point.

Ohare is history, thanks for the memories made some great moments. No player is bigger than the club I’m glad he’s gone now we can move forward.

Genuinely, I’m just mystified.

He acts like Billy Big Ones, plays his arse off for a month, attracts interest, his form fizzles out…

How can he afford to turn down offers from abroad? Or even a low-tier PL team?

It makes no sense, unless there were no offers from foreign teams, or PL teams…or the offers he did get, were from relegated PL teams, and now he’s reassessing.

Either way he’ll end up at Stoke, and we know it.

The abroad and PL offers has come from Dawkins who I doubt has the details of what he’s been offered. He’s looking for attention.

Reality is at the moment it’s only Sheff U who are genuinely in the hunt for him.

Still think he'll end up at Southampton or Forest. No info, just what I felt all along as the right fit for him. Less likely to start at Forest, but still see him there.

Serious question , would he start for us right now? I don't think he would and I like him

Depends where his head is at.

The Cal that played that 10 game spell after injury - absolutely and I'd build the team round him.

The Cal that ended the season though, would be lucky to fill a spot on the bench.

Thing is , the club had the money there to offer him the contract rather than sign rudoni for millions but they chose not to break the bank and let him leave and spend the money on jack .

O'Hare is pigeon holed into 1 position number 10 ..
We have Rudoni , Palmer , sakamoto and mason clark that can all play 10 , and possibly even Torp .

I like him but I don't think he improves us right now , we've replaced and arguably improved

People shouldn't underestimate that our attacking options are currently some of the leagues best

I like COH and would have been delighted if he stayed but like Palmer, consistency isn’t there. 9/10 one week, missing for next 3. Hopefully our signings work out but either way, we want more consistent performances as well as goals and assist contributions.

O hare has fucked it or probably mostly his agent. He is a championship level player and that’s where he will probably end up. I love the guy I felt a real connection to him and his playing style. Never gave up.

His issue will be a better team than us will have higher expectations and he becomes just another player rather than a star. No one will chant his name he will be on the subs bench very quickly. I hope it was worth the 4k extra a week.
