Yet, with just 20 goals to their name this term and only six coming on their travels - the lowest scorers in the Football League - the Sky Blues failed to take advantage, something which will surely not be helped by today's departure of nine-goal top scorer Lukas Jutkiewicz to Middlesbrough.
but a bloody depressing one!!!Just another statistic!
I'd also wager none of those teams has lost more games by 1 goal this season either
You'd win that wager. Just checked. We've lost 11 games by one goal this season, more than anyone else in the Football League.
Statto.com is an excellent site for this stuff, any more bets on things we are the crappest on?
But we play lovely football. Easy on the eye..of the opposition.
We get it, you don't like Thorn.
Any suggestions for who we'd bring in on the same or less wages who would do any better?

Alternatively can you name anyone who would do worse?
Waiting to hear your answer, not an easy question
Oh i've come close to it moff ,thought he would resign when Turner got sold ,and i know he's made mistakes it ,just have all our previous managers ,But he got that effort again today when the team yet again had the bollox kicked out of them by these vandals ,we were undone by a brilliant save and error @ the back from a returning unfit rightback playing out of position, that is four good league performances on the bounce 6 points where it should have been 8-10Wingy I respect what you say, but we just dont know.
I just feel, and I know you and others disagree, that he is not up to the job.
Alternatively can you name anyone who would do worse?
How could getting someone new in be any worse?
At least at this stage of the season there would be that honeymoon period that may just give us some momentum to maybe by a miracle survive, a lot of teams around us lost today so no real harm done luckily just 1 game less to get some points but it has to happen sooner rather than later in my opinion.
However I just can not see it happening as I have said before I think it is part of the sisu plan to leave us as much in the shit as they possible can.
They have no connection to the fans, and so do not care about history or the pride that we have for the club, as these are business people and not CCFC fans, so to them it was/is just an investment that went wrong, and they will just want as much out of the club as they can get.

To be fair, not every manager gets a honeymoon period.
Look it's all unprovable opinions here. You say we can't do worse than bottom I say we could be 20 points adrift and losing every game 7-0, while playing awful football.
You have to make the case for a change that would cost a broke club significant cash.
So I'll ask again: who would come here an do a better job on the same or less than Thorn?
Me? You?
Besides, burden of proof is on the accuser.
It matters not how many points you are adrift if you are bottom. Turn it the other way would you back Thorn to win promotion from Div 1 next season? If yes give concrete evidence as to why.
In other words know he can't but will carry on defending the indefensible.
