Or the Ellis Simms car park, as there's almost no movement,Rename it as the Liam Kitching Car Park.

Pete, who can I get in touch with? Has there been any work to try and change the timings of the lights to get cars out?
Road is literally closed yet the lights are still set to favour it.
It's so so simple. The Council know they are shutting the road and mobilize an army of people to do this. Yet no one has the foresight to think about adjusting the lights sequencing so traffic flow in the open routes is optimized for 30 mins after the game. The people in charge of roads and traffic management in this country are either clueless or don't drive on the roads they look after!A disaster every week. While I am sharing my frustrations currently on UK motorways there are 100s of average speed checks and I can't remember the last time I saw someone working or a genuine need for 'slowed traffic'.
There’s a typo in that address is should be apcoa.com NOT acpia.Contact ChristopherOToole@apcia.com he is responsible for this now.
I’ve decided the only option is to sit in the car and listen to CWR until the road opens but I appreciate some people may not have the time to do that.A disaster every week. From what I'm told the club have asked for the after game road closures yet have been passing the buck on
Was It Tynan Scopes idea to close the main link to the M6, worst decision ever made by the clubFrom what I'm told the club have asked for the after game road closures yet have been passing the buck on

He was Doug Kings driverI don't think he ever had ideas for anything tbh
isn't that how all event road closures work? you request the closure and then the relevant authorities deal with it, and send you the bill. From what I'm told the club have asked for the after game road closures yet have been passing the buck on

are you expecting King out there directing traffic, Wright putting out cones at half time?
Those near misses were because people who were too entitled, or in too much of a hurry, wouldn't use the crossings. I have seen parents dragging their kids across six lane of traffic. The road closures were introduced to protect idiots from their own stupidity. Having ranted about that we have got used to it. We park in CtK so spend 10-15mins over a coffee and leave to an almost empty car park and less congestion.Sorry to disagree with you all but I love all the road closures.
Yes it means that folks have to wait or park further away than usual but it’s way better getting out of the stadium now.
Especially now we have way more supporters at the ground.
Much smoother, much quicker and much safer.
Seen at least 10 near misses outside the ground by crazy fucking drivers and IMHO a fatality was bound to happen.
Great decision by the club.

Even if it is cant they join the dots with whoever manages the lights?Contracted out.
And the people in their cars treated the roads like Pedestrians were incidental. It’s clear that the increased crowds would need a safe way of leaving. City could do a lot more to make the delay more acceptable. Every club has the same problem. Some of them leave kiosks open cater for those who are delayed. Those near misses were because people who were too entitled, or in too much of a hurry, wouldn't use the crossings. The amount of times it's closed midweek after games is unbelievable too. Spent far too many hours driving through Northamptonshire countryside.I genuinely think the M1 towards Luton from Cov/Rugby way has been average speed check in certain places for about 10 years. It really is a joke how many of these there are in the UK.

Although a big thing to do it is better and it’s not the road closure that causes issues with car park C. Car park C had same issues before the road closure and they stem from the lights being so short there’s no time to for anyone to get out. If the timing of the lights could be adjusted for some time after the game I’m confident thing would improve dramatically.Sorry to disagree with you all but I love all the road closures.

The road closure would make a lot more sense if it was also used to get traffic away from the stadium rather than simply allow everyone to get to their cars then effectively try and leave at the same time. They opened the A444 but left Wheelwright / Hen Lane closed for a good 15 minutes longer yesterday. It’s just so overkill. It should not take me nearly an hour (sometimes longer) to get to the M6, especially when the ground was designed in area specifically for ease of access to the motorway.
Close the roads for a short period, fine. But most people are out of the way 15/20 mins after the game finishes.
