Why? You have just said it clearly regarding injuries and short time as manager etc

Why are you defending people that ignore that to focus on owners words?

These are adults. They don't have to follow what the owner says

Let's just be honest. They hold him to account because it helps them stick the boot in because they WANT TOO

Because its the same sort of no nuanced, black and white thinking that we saw from the Robins out brigade.

But I really am struggling to see why you think people aren't going to hold a an owner to account.

I don't think a lot of people are doing it to have a go at Lampard, ( just my opinion, could be wrong), but more to shine a light on what a pillock King is when he shoots his mouth off.

And on that point, I'm in total agreement with them.

And there we have it. It is anti king or anti lampard thing. So there is an agenda and robins is at centre of it one way or another

So people can stop with the "we didn't mention robins" nonsense now as if it is a get out of jail card

To criticise someone isn't to be anti them.

King should not of made all those proclamations, they were always going to come back and bite him.
I've consistently said it about King, commercially he's really took the club forward and improved the match day experience, but when he starts going on about football he's a car crash.

No football club owner should be making some of the statements Kings made regarding the playing side as far as I'm concerned and find it astounding you're defending them though he does have a devoted fanclub.

Hopefully he learns from this and stays in his lane going forward and sticks to the business side of things which is what he does best.

There can be different threads for that.
Saying we must win away Vs Cardiff or it means zero improvement is very different

You can believe I'm in his fanclub all you want. All you do with these posts is prove that agendas exist.

These posts prove nothing of the sort.

I remember when I put a challenge out to one of Kings biggest devotees on here after the Robins sacking, I'd give him a tenner for every post in which he criticised King, and he gives me a pound for every post in which I criticise Robins.

Challenge wasn't accepted. Because he had not once criticised King, a football supporter had never once called into question anything his clubs owner did, its fucking astonishing, and that's an agenda.

As for Cardiff, not a must win for me, but must win has been the most overused phrase on this forum long before Lampard arrived.

So you found a weirdo that likes king

Are you honestly saying there are no weirdos in this forum who hate king?

As I have said before. Forget the extreme posters on either side of the equation

King has quite a devoted little fan club on here. And yes, there are some haters.

But if you're a fan of a football club, and you're looking at it objectively, you don't want the owner making the statements King made regarding the playing side of things, he's not qualified to for a fucking start!

I mean, I'm prepared to cut him some slack. First manager he had to sack, controversial one, lot of kick back, but learn from it in future.

I'm a big serie a fan so outspoken chairmen rly doesn't register with me too much as a problem. I don't think king is that bad anyway in what he says. Doesn't mean I'm devoted to him. Just my opinion

They’re third from bottom! Are there any games this season you expect us to win?

“ridiculous criteria for success” = winning football matches against teams worse than you 🤣

Losing to 11th place Wednesday is the worst result ever, getting pumped 4-1 by second from bottom is just a blip, don't worry about it.

Find it a bit odd how quickly we've gone from berating people when they say they'd settle for a point away to an in form top side to saying people expecting 3 points against a bottom 3 side who have won 1 in 10 and last won at home the first week of November is setting unrealistic expectations!

We should be winning this, I'm not confident of getting anything at Carrow Road and if we don't get 3 points here then any slim chance of a playoff push almost disappears completely.

Cardiff is another poor ground for us & looking through January, we could definitely struggle unless the team pick up considerably

We won at Cardiff a couple of seasons ago.
Norwich will be tough but 2 winnable home games either side of a trip to Ewood Park where we seem to do OK.

Think it could be an OK month.

Trying to get over my Wright/EMC double injury depression. I think we need to drop Rudoni back into his usual position as we're basically losing another of our better players by moving him. Another solution needed on the left, think I'd go Bassette with Simms up top personally.
Feels a bit like a draw this one.

There are very few posters on here who I’d say are in a King fan club.

Rudoni had a good game but we missed EMC's directness more than anything. Bassette and Simms is the way to go while EMC and Wright are out I think.

You have a go at anyone who says anything good about Robins and anything you see as being bad against King. Then you throw the insults in.
Evidence? I loved mark robins so I doubt very much I have a go at people for that reason

Just admit you have an agenda. You tried to say I flip flop on last year being good or bad. You tried to say I wanted robins gone. Neither is true but your agenda is to push that ppl who don't hate king must have hated robins and must have thought he deserved to go.

Let this post be used anytime king fanclub is brought up as covcity4life has shown up the real agenda right here.

I;m going rogue with this, but I'd play Bassette and Simms up top. The weather is likely to be crap, so play it over the top regularly - so Simms won't be making the runs in vain, with Bassette more likely to benefit from the extra support (if Bassette is knackered, stick BTA alongside Simms - just have at least two nuisances. If we do that, and the rest of the team can remain solid, I think we can win this. Will need some grit, and also not let that Siopsis run the game in midfield (a decent player, similar to what we need)

See what you are saying though. Your still making it about those that believe king and those that don't. Wether you admit it or not it's an agenda that's all I'm saying. Tbf you are not letting it affect your posts on lampard but others most certainly are. "Well king said improvement so if he don't do it next game he's a failure" . It's idiotic irrespective of what king has come out with

I have left the robins asking behind. Judging just on lampard. And I've seen a solid start. I don't factor in other stuff. I don't care if king wants promotion this season or to avoid relegation. I'm just judging on what I've seen from lampard and the fact I'm in my forties and watched slot of footy I know that a manager needs time to bed in his tactics fully. So far so good for me.
King said the Adi interview was unauthorised when it has now been proven to be authorised. Andy Turner gave him get out of jail card, and if that was the case, King was ill-informed. King said the players were the fittest they had ever been. Frank claimed otherwise. King said we are a transparent club? I cannot remember a time when information from the club has been less forthcoming and controlled. Andy Turner said King had not talked to him in 2 years.
Does anyone really believe that Robins was responsible for everything that was bad and went wrong at the club as claimed? Robins signing off on players is meaningless unless he had the final say, which does not happen in modern, elite football organisations.
I am sorry but the claim that loans are difficult by the Recruitment people is smoke and mirrors. Applies to every club in the country.
We are still waiting for the promised Director of Football.
I am a Robins fan but not a Lampard hater. I want us to be successful by playing great football.

The conditions are going to be identical to Portsmouth, wet and blowing a gale. Players are not going to be fit on both sides, so any changes will likely be enforced. We already know about EMC and there may be others. I expect Cardiff to play more like Portsmouth to adapt to the conditions. If we try to play from the back, through the lines in those conditions like we did at Portsmouth, we will very likely lose. Controlling the ball in really bad weather in difficult conditions is extremely hard and means we struggle to get out of our own half. This game will be a lottery and the best result we could have is a postponement. Apologies suggesting this to travelling fans.
