Steve Evans will have no remorse at spending her money and leaving them in the lurch
More fool her and her husband in believing in his vision and loyalty
Totally niave.
You could argue that point but when it comes to Mr Evans I am afraid I cannot agree with you.
She’s a smart cookie thats for sure and plenty of passion for her investment. Be interesting to see if Flitcroft remains when they miss out on the Playoffs.
Totally agree. While the sentiment of the team needing to play for their lives is right, it strikes me as something the manager should be putting out rather than a CEO getting involved.

That’s ok, I’m not asking you to like him just pointing out a fact the Radfords sold the vision not Evans

Evans new he was going to Peterborough a month before he left Mansfield. He even loaned out a player in the knowledge he was going
Evans did the recruiting of majority of squad and it was his "persuasive nature" that encouraged the Radfords to continue to invest beyond their budget. Watch them emplode over next 6 months.

Apparently she posted it from Dubai!View attachment 9467
Meltdown alert....
So right in the thick of the action then, eh and all in it together.Apparently she posted it from Dubai!
Or on holidaySo right in the thick of the action then, eh and all in it together.
Yep. Right at the crucial end of the season.Or on holiday
She’s the chairman (or whatever) of a football club I reckon she can have a long weekend in Dubai if she wants?!?!? Who even knows when she flew out? Like literally could have been there for so many reasons but you jump straight to a sarcy “all in this together” remarkYep. Right at the crucial end of the season.
Good thinking.
Sorry I disagree on your theory.
Mansfield appointed Evans in November with the club 19th in the table 3 points of the play offs and 3 off the drop zone.
Evans stock was at its highest after being in the Leeds job in the championship to which he’d also took Rotherham to.
To drop to L2 without any assurances of a healthy budget to strengthen in the January window and again in the summer is crazy to say it’s all Evans doing.
Why would he drop to that level when other jobs be more desirable in L1 if he’d hold out for the sackings to kick in.
I also assume your referring to the loan signing of Ricky Miller from Peterborough to Mansfield. A signing a few other L2 clubs were after also and a few wanted here.

I hate Steve Evans but totally agree with you, he didn’t do too bad at Leeds and could of easily got another Championship/Top League 1 Club.
Steve Evans has a track record of having all the morals of an alley cat so they should have had some form of a long term plan with or without him. Mind you, hark at me, we have no long term plans whatsoever and just go from disaster to disaster....and we appointed Russel Slade!
owners who care, whatever next
You are obviously not aware of his reputation within footballing circles like I am.
There were no other offers at the time
How/why he was offered the Peterborough job,god only knows.

I would suggest there are few managers with a better win ratio, so putting his not so pleasant character aside, winning is more important than morals or liking the guy to some. You are obviously not aware of his reputation within footballing circles like I am.

on a super agent?I would suggest there are few managers with a better win ratio, so putting his not so pleasant character aside, winning is more important than morals or liking the guy to some.
You don't have to like the Warnocks of this world but if I was a championship chairman wanting to get up then I know where I would lump my cash.
or on Super Tony Mowbray.....on a super agent?

I’d say more important than winning is keeping the club alive. Something which his actions failed Boston.I would suggest there are few managers with a better win ratio, so putting his not so pleasant character aside, winning is more important than morals or liking the guy to some.
