That will be the reason without doubtMaybe it's the fact that Wasps have no money and cannot afford the intended renovations/upkeep/new surface?
I was more referring to being part of the contract or even email exchange with some kind of commitment and timeline , rather than saying in a press conference once and 12 months ago , I think if the club have the first part then they have a very strong caseTo be fair, Wasps are on record as saying it rather than just verbally so not too hard to prove to the EFL.
the customer is paying quarterly in advance. That will be the reason without doubt
Would you have taken a booking 12 months ago and have no interaction at all , then expect the customer to turn up on the given date when you have committed resource and money ?
As far as I see it the only facts are that the pitch was trashed by the Rugby 7s and there was insufficient time to repair it to a safe condition before our first home game.
Whether the club knew this, whether the club was insufficiently proactive is not the main issue. This, and everything else, such as SISU manipulating the issue to gain some sort of legal advantage over Wasps, is pure speculation from certain individuals who are themselves manipulating the situation because of their agenda against SISU and the club.
Personally I'll wait until all the facts emerge before I judge anybody although it's obvious that ACL has failed in its duty to some extent.
No, I’m not.Anyone else hearing rumours that Wasps are days away from filing for insolvency?
Ask your imaginary itk pal
No he is on an apprentice contract and has work experience there to learn a trade but under the management of the Arena staff - our actual ground staff do not work there - he works on the pitch for football and rugby. If he remains as a CCFC employee after the apprenticeship he would no longer work there. I assume we agreed to be part of an apprentice scheme with the collaboration of wasps ground staff to train up someone as a skill.
Unless you think a £5 an hour apprentice can be responsible for managing the pitch.

If I'm hiring something and I have paid my bills I don't expect to have to chase them constantly to make sure I'm getting what I paid for.
We’re either incredibly naive, someone massively cocked up or there is something we’re not being told.I'm sorry and it is painful to say this, but for an impartial observer the club relying on a statement about relaying the pitch made some time ago in lieu of having a day to day relationship is just ridiculous

in fairness there was no access in the previous 2 weeks . i do however think they should of been concerned earlier when clearly no plan for relaying the pitch was forthcomingMy point is if you were hiring something and had been promised an upgrade and you continued to pay etc and nothing was happening in that time , you would ask or discuss in that period surely at least , not saying it has to be done constantly .
If this has been done then great
At the moment all we know is the club turned up 3 days before the match to find out it was not fit for use
It is hard to disagree with that, you only had to go into a stand and look at it to see it was at best dodgy, was it that difficult to get in.We’re either incredibly naive, someone massively cocked up or there is something we’re not being told.
Everyone and their dogs (except for Anthony Hornsby) could have told you that pitch was wrecked by the CWG, and unless there was a secret pitch relaying in the middle of the night it was going to start like that for the Rotherham game. If no-one at the club realised that then it’s on them.
Isn't the bond due again on the 12th, might be linked to thatAnyone else hearing rumours that Wasps are days away from filing for insolvency?

Fair, I ’m losing track of all pitch talk and thought this was about the general upkeep not the re-lay.My point is if you were hiring something and had been promised an upgrade and you continued to pay etc and nothing was happening in that time , you would ask or discuss in that period surely at least , not saying it has to be done constantly .

I don’t think the club was surprised at all. I think he club were rubbing their hands at the opportunity to show up wasps. We’re either incredibly naive, someone massively cocked up or there is something we’re not being told.

I wonder what Robins and the players think about that. I can’t imagine they’re too thrilled to be having games called off and nowhere to play for however long it may be.I don’t think the club was surprised at all. I think he club were rubbing their hands at the opportunity to show up wasps.
That was the best you could do after thinking for 2 hours? Sad
The re-lays were held in Perry bar I think.Fair, I ’m losing track of all pitch talk and thought this was about the general upkeep not the re-lay.
You shouldn't have to, and as for the contract situation if you're renting the Arena for the purpose of playing football matches it's surely an implied term that the venue will be of a standard that will allow that to happen. It's literally not fit for purpose.the customer is paying quarterly in advance.

I think while it’s just one postponement they will be okay with it, but it has to be sorted for the Wigan game, I hope they are on to it now.I wonder what Robins and the players think about that. I can’t imagine they’re too thrilled to be having games called off and nowhere to play for however long it may be.
Wasps going bust followed by Billy Gilmour signing is more likely than you being employed.
Yes, but again we don't know that to be fact. There was talk from more than one place that we had the first two games away, and could even have asked for the first 3 which is what happened in 2005/6. If we had a reasonable belief that the pitch would be that damaged, surely we'd have put the request in?

Were they rubbing their hands at losing out on several matches of revenue and an EFL sanction?
Indeed.Anybody who thinks the blame is 100 per cent one parties fault is deluded.
Just like old times, eh.and lots of fingers pointing in different directions.
probably - they’ll no doubt get some funding for a court battle
