If only someone could invent some kind of sprinkler system to water the pitch...We heed some rain asap
Surely it's out of our control though. If the pitch is unfit through no fault of our own, then they can't make us forfeit the game.

You'd hope that the EFL would be sympathetic given it is something totally out of our control. If our landlords can't provide a playable pitch its not really something we can be blamed forGames get called off for weather conditions etc. but would it not be a forfeit in this case if we can’t fulfil the fixture?
How well do our fixtures alternate with Blues....?
They're at home tonight so Sunday could be possible maybe. But would their ground hold enough people now that have tickets? How well do our fixtures alternate with Blues....?
Unfortunately I think you're rightissue is player safety - so its going to be off
7’ns rugby is 7 minutes each way. It’s fit blokes running around like fookin ijets.
It will do no more damage than a couple of football matches.

Pic from today. Fucking disgrace.
Old women? You lot are like a bunch of old women sometimes.
There are no scrums,no mauls and no rucks. The pitch will not cut up as much as it will playing football on it.
So take a chill pill and calm down.
Oh, games are over for today. Pitch looks fine.
No one gives a fuck about the commonwealth games.
NEWS: Pitch inspection to take place on Saturday ahead of Rotherham United game
Coventry City can confirm that there will be a pitch inspection at the Coventry Building Society Arena at 6pm on Saturday, ahead of our home game against Rotherham United.www.ccfc.co.uk
I will admit I got it wrong. But that pitch must have been in a sorry state before it even started.Come on then.
A couple people need to put their hands up and admit they were wrong.
Wonder what was paid for use of the CBS.. money should be reinvested to bring the pitch up to expected qualityWasps obviously do.

Only the groundsman will know if it was ready. And he would have been told to keep quiet, Commonwealth games obviously took precedence.
Can't believe they had a concert on it, and then all those fucking male and female buffaloes stampeding up and down and digging wallows in it.
Fuck Wasps, tell them to whistle for the rent for as long as it's unplayable
From the pictures I have seen, it looked perfect before the start of the Rugby 7’s.
Ive seen better park pitches.View attachment 25657

Really hope it’s written straight out in the rebt agreement that this reduces our financial obligations.
This is the worry, is this something that can be sorted before the cup game or even the Wigan game. If there's a fundamental problem and its a danger to players how long are we talking to get this resolved.I don't even think using a heavy roller will flatten it out, looks so badly damaged.
Absolutely pathetic this.
