I've reread it and the first 3 words sum it up. My view is the rent is ridiculous and if this is the only way to get a fair market price then so what. Also there is no evidence ACL are anymore interested in our welfare than SISU.

From this and previous posts he is very anti owners and sees nothing positive in their stance,

I don't agree with him.

You know what Grendel I see from your posts that you are simply a Sisu apologist with no care in the interests of CCFC long term or the city of Coventry long term. I don't agree with you because you are a bit of a cock. Live with it.

I bow to your ethically intelligent argument. It's your command of the English language that most of all means I am powerless to your intellectual might.

That I agree with, apology accepted.

It is clear that you have more interest in the Landlord than the football club so there is no point in even trying to reason with you.

You can't take the apology back now big fella....
The fans and the city are the football club, Sisu are but a sad episode that you are nailing your tiresome apologist mast to....

My apology was sarcasm and your stance is one that most football fans would find very hard to comprehend.

I started supporting Ccfc because they represent my City. I want them to do well because what's good for the football club is good for the city.

However i have yet to see how Sisus actions have been for the benefit of my city. I am also extremely angry that through sisu my club have disgraced itself by not honouring its legal commitments.

I would hate to see the clubs credit rating by the end of this. Who is ever going to trust a contract signed by ccfc now?

What about previous regimes who have refused to pay bills -- or don't they count?

Do you have amnesia? Our owners pre SISU nearly put us in administration!

In my years of supporting CCFC, we have had shit owners with no money, and don't really care about the club... SISU aren't the only bad owners we've had. :jerkit:   :thinking about:

Well if it makes you happy I hold the previous owners (who asked the council & higgs trust to set up the current situation) in similar regard to sisu.

...and Sisu apologists never like just looking at Sisu's record - they like to divert attention to other poor past regimes as if that makes Sisu above criticism..

Yaaaaaaawn.

No one has to apologise for ACL as the Higgs trust and council saved the club well before sisu

What short memories some have or just choose to forget

Haha the apologists really don't like talking about Sisu's record do they?
The business has been run really professionally by Sisu right, not even a hiccup in 5 years right ?

Grendel-it is pretty fair to say that this club hasn't been efficiently run since BR arrived. However that doesn't make SISU exempt from criticism and so I ask-as our rent has always been above the league average, why has it taken 5 years for it to suddenly become an issue?

Why is refusing to pay contractually owed money rather than accepting a hefty reduction a valid stance? Bearing in mind that further negotiation could have taken place soon after.

Good points made about all owners screwing us over since I have supported them. Sisu no different?? No worse no better or are they worse?

It really astonishes me that anyone would support CCFC over ACL in this.

Just where have you're principals gone from that other thread you started?

Which thread?

IMO, ACL are just as immoral as SISU for charging the rent they do, and SISU are acting in an immoral way BUT, morals do not exist in the business world - look at Kraft's takeover of Cadburys! -Do I agree with it? I'm not happy about the way things are being dealt with, but if CCFC is where my interests lie.

This has turned into a war v SISU as opposed to the situation being: CCFC need lower rent to survive.

The paradox is: lowering rent makes us more attractive to buy, thus getting rid of SISU, but the most prominent anti-SISU posters want ACL to win, so less people wants to buy us thus SISU stay

Thers a small obstacle approaching a £50M. noose around the clubs neck, that is the obstacle to anyone ever taking over us,you'd rather they destroy ACL who've managed the project of creating 3000 jobs one of which you now utilise on a part-time basis.
The club had failed in its aims for the arena,it subsequently failed finacialy ,its failing again under the current retards ,none of them have a clue how to run a secure business ,the only consistent has been the Council/Higgs /ACL,as i said in another thread ,what would be better ,rely on these or the next lot of Charlatans to see the stadium through ,or let ACL continue its remittina secure way ,and when its paid off ,gift or pass it on to a Supporters trust where every ST holder is a member ,I know which I prefer.

Whoa - no one said anything about destroying ACL, I, for one, just want a FAIR deal for CCFC. 1.1m a year simply isn't.

If you seriously think the council will give up their share to a supporter's trust when all the debt is cleared... See your GP fact, they won't give up long term revenue unless they receive a MEGA offer! Higgs won't give it away, they'll sell for a good price.

Btw, what thread are you talking about?
