You don't though do, hence why you want ACL to beat CCFC.

You are clearly a fool as I have never said anything about one side or the other beating the other.

I have been supporting CCFC for over 45 years, no wonder you are not taken seriously with your childish comments

If we could get the 30K who would no doubt go to the JPT final if we got there to come to the Ricoh every other week then all this would be academic.

Does that mean that my opinion is only 9% as valid as yours?

And by the way pike I notice that you are in the very very small minority of 9% accordinding to the CET poll:whistle:

Taxpayers didn't pay for it though. ACL are paying for it through a mortgage. The council was just a short term loan which was payed back.

Why do we keep banging on about taxpayers.

The council owns 50% of the stadium as do the Higgs trust.

So who has to stump up the remaining balance of the £20M loan taken out to complete the stadium if ACL goes bust? The rent basically covers that sum.

So who pays for running the stadium if ACL incurs losses, it surely will on the reduced rental agreement unless ACL hold more & bigger events there.

SISU are just ratcheting up the pressure.. to get their greedy mitts on the stadium.

Yes I know who owns it. They loaned some money and got it back. Taxpayers money returned.

Who does pay for running the stadium if ACL Ltd incur losses and who will pay if they don't fullfil their mortgage payments? Please enlighten me.

Well I would be paying 2K+ to fly back to the UK for a JPT final and there are plenty more expats like me who would do the same. I suppose you think we should all be paying that every week to fly over for the games. I sympathize with your sentiments regarding the stay away fans who live in Cov, but please don't tar us all with the same brush.

Ah yes, as you could see from my post I was obviously having a go at expats who live outside the country and was obviously expecting them to fly thousands of miles for every home match.

Actually of they negotiate a huge rent reduction that will be excellent news. The fact that ACL after relatively modest action have already agreed such a reduction tells you something.

There cunning plan by the way will be to stall even more and hope to get further concessions.

Lets hope they do as all of us I am sure are only interested in the clubs expenditure being as low as possible.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Yes let's hope SISU carry out their cunning plan, don't do a deal and push for even more and move us away so they can

Classic :)

Cunning is correct in the boldrick sense

It's an old thread

We were reminiscing on another old thread about AT, so I thought I would join in :)

It's Grendel applauding SISU's 'cunning plan' and encouraging them not to agree a deal and instead push for even more. .....

Worked out well

Just as good as the 'let's turn down the cva, that'll show 'em' plan. A beaut that one.

One led to us moving 35 miles away

The other made no difference in the end

Encouraging SISU not to do a deal is one of the most stupid things a Cov fan could have done

Who did the story on the CET?

Hope it wasn't Les Reid!

That might have been before he became SISUs mouthpiece.

Whatever happened to Sky Blue Taylor he used to so adamant that SISU should not compromise and keep pushing it and pushing it.

When has any deal ever been done where one side shows no compromise at all.

Very bizarre stance to take it was always going to go one way with that approach

Maybe this reminds the sixfields posse (secret meetingers) that offers for rent reduction and access to f&b have been offered !!!!

But we knew all this. It is long time common knowledge.
We also know that a £150,000 rent was offered.
Turned down. Ignored.
We know what Sisu are up to.
Everything for next to nothing.

Yes but its good to sometimes to remind people because Sisu & the sixfields posse can easily lose recollection of events !!!

While the rent is still more than double that paid by any other L1 club, it was a start and I think SISU should have gone with that. However, the club are correct; ACL shouldn't be leaking the deal to the press. Their way of getting people on their side, I guess.

So you want to be kept in the dark by both sides?

The 2nd biggest issue I have with SISU is the way they continually disengage the fans. If they were open and honest i think more people would trust them. That fact that they just spin line after line about how hard they they have been done too and how everything they do is for the good of the club, even the good of the fans of CCFC, is they cannot fill the void of information with evidence then others will. I for one am happy it's ACL and not someone with a 'heard from a good source' story.

ACL moving 67% SISU 0%. Yeh 400K is lot for L1 but love or hate the Ricoh you cannot call it a shed. They want it for free, so they can add value to the club. If they want to add value they should invest in the club, offer a fair price to either purchase acl, the stadium or both, or a fair rent deal. Carry on as they are and the club will be beyond repair for at least the next ten years.
