I wouldn’t be shocked to see them back in a years time it will be a massive step up and the deal good factor will soon disappear after they play one of the big boys early on. They will get beat at least 8-0 more than once if they play as open as they do in this league.

Mad Mick gone at Blackpool apparently....

Well, it's a good way for him to avoid having another relegation on his CV. 6 games left, potential of 18 points and they're 7 behind safety. Feel sorry for whoever the caretaker boss will be as that's a tough challenge. Mick, I think in football they call that a hospital pass :)

Blackpool fans won't be happy. They weren't when we played up there, even after that surreal 5-1 win over QPR.

Transformerd Burnley! Playing in the Championship with parachute payments helps.

Let's see how he gets on in the Premier league.

But please remember, as the Burnley fans were so keen to point out, "they didn't have to rely on parachute payments as they'd sold a lot of players when they dropped last season and didn't buy many others so they have funds to rebuild"

TGP, I do agree though, I see Burnley as a comparison to Bournemouth in that they haven't really been tested this season, played within themselves and have sauntered through their season. They will get found out and quickly and they'd need to replace a lot of that starting 11 with prem quality players.

I'm actually surprised at Fulham doing as well as they have after their success last year. Forest and Bournemouth are where I would have expected them to be.

Mitrovic has done brilliantly to be fair, then done brilliantly stupid to get himself banned for the rest of the season in a Cup tie.

Their style of football is more than just money. Think he is going to have a good managerial career. Like arteta when you learning from pep who applies his style to every club he goes, the omens are good.

I’d like to see a proper breakdown of why Kompany is supposedly so good. That article doesn’t really explain it - just seems to say “He signed lots of good players and won lots of games”….top management there.
