Chair, who many on here would love us to sign, got dragged on 70 mins after contributing next to nothing. He’s talented but has the heart of a mouse
Yep, had the new manager bounce but been awful since. Must be while since they’ve been out of the top two divisions?

Just getting started. Still got Wright to come back, Torp to come in, O’Hare to hit full fitness, Simms to click and maybe more additions.
Yea just feels a little strange and will be pressure for us to keep up our position, liked us last season staying under the radar and pip the other teams to the play offs in the last 3 or 4 games.

I don’t think the pressure is on at all. After all most of our players were written off a shit and we were relegation candidates

We were never going under the radar with our run of games then outplaying the Barcelona of the Championship.

Pressure on? In my view the pressure is off. Scoring freely even without Wright. The pressure was on when we didn't know where the next win was coming from.

The games against Sheffield Wednesday will be more difficult than some think but we are still good enough to win both games.

Just take each game as it comes. Each win will pull us away from someone. I think we will be comfortable by April.

Not the most reliable Twitter source but if true, could really mess Ipswich's promotion efforts. And how desperate are Burnley ?

Expected to see Tats on the other list. Fairly surprised to see Sheaf on there as well tbf.

We almost made the prem with a 54 year old Fadz in defence. Age has nothing to do with it.

The fact it’s a £1m fee for a not very good League 1 player is the most bewildering part of this deal

Having one in your team is different to trying to buy one

What's wrong with trying to sign a 33 year old on a short contract to try and cement your place in the top 2?

Ipswich are punching well above their weight this season. They have done excellent and have shown up the relegated sides. But they are not a rich club having just come up from League 1. We're now in the hardest part of the season. Injuries mounting up. The weather makes it more difficult and draining. They have a small squad of quality players that need bolstering because soon all sides have to finish with what they have. This is why I have predicted they will finish 4th or 5th.

Playing a 33 year old experienced player is much better than having to put a reserve in that's hardly played all season. Just remember there's a 100m prize at stake.

Ipswich are not as rich as the other 3 but dont be fooled they are far from poor under these owners

My surprise wasn't that Ipswich were trying to sign him, but rather that Sheff Wed would turn down over a million quid for a 33 year old who is out of contract in the summer.
Chansiri - they'll come back with a second bid and I'll squeeze another 200k or so out of them. If he's not in the team against us on Saturday will probably be the biggest clue.

Staying in the Championship is worth more than 1m.

Would we accept 3m for O'Hare? Would we even accept 5m? Not easy to bring in decent players at this time of the season without paying over the odds.

I think we're different, guarantee we have someone lined up to replace O'Hare and we'd try and pull the trigger immediately if £5 million came in. Wednesday not so much, just throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks.
