Dan James from 50 yards! Great finish at that pace from there!

Could be one of the most boring play-off races ever the way things are going. Southampton are pretty much locked in 4th, West Brom have an easy enough run in that they should comfortably finish 5th and Norwich have a decent enough lead on the chasing pack.

If we could beat Leeds, Ipswich still have to play Norwich, so it's not all over - I'm happy with how the season has been, regardless - but would be fun to take it to the wire like last season - if only because it's more fun than watching 'dead rubbers'.

Norwich v Ipswich next.

If we managed to beat Leeds, there could be as little as just one point in it.

And us with a game in hand.

Would be amazing to take it to the wire.

Since New Years Day when we didn't take the whole allocation at Boro, I think we'll have sold out every away allocation since and are likely to sell out the 2k at Blues and the Wembley semi final.

Imagine how rocking the away end at Blackburn could be if they let us have around 5,500 and we're still in with a decent shout of the playoffs at that point

Last away game of the season, and even if we're out of it, we should use the occasion as a 'farewell to Fadz' day - we never got the chance to say goodbye. You'd also hope, that in those circumstances, the club would give permission for Fadz to play (obviously no chance, if we needed to win)!

Edit: @Brighton Sky Blue has rightly pointed out Fadz can play (not on loan, as I'd thought !) Great that we can say goodbye then.

Are Ipswich actually very good or just over-achieving this season? They didn't look spectacular when we played them and they seem to get away with it often.
Can't imagine they'd have a good time in the prem next season if they do go up. Definitely would be the next Derby unless they get some serious investment ala Forest.

They're top of the league 40 games into the season. Of course they are very good.

Of course they’re very good and they have an excellent. They also completely outplayed us first half against them.

If we have premier league aspirations surely we should be beating Leeds at home or at minimum drawing? This is a perfect game for us really. Lets see how good we are against the best team in this division.
Its in our own hands now. Norwich wont win every game. If we are good enough we should be able to overcome what is a one point deficit as our game in hand is home v Hull which again if we have premier league aspirations surely we should be winning.

Thought Ipswich and Leeds have been the only teams levels above us this season TBH.

Lost 2-1 at Ipswich, and didn't Godden miss a pen in that game? Or are you referring to the season as a whole? For me West Brom looked to have a very solid side when we played them - unspectacular, well organised and with a particularly strong defence.

What the fuck has the Hull manager done aside from spunk cash and drop out the playoff race?
