Yeah I actually agree, I don’t think Sheffield United are good as in a good watch; Sunderland play better football.

However, I feel same as you in that Sheffield United are extremely effective and largely good defensively. Similar to Burnley (but not as good)

Strangely think Leeds look better this season!
I think them looking better is a symptom of a weaker league. Losing Rutter, Gray and Summerville in one summer is wild.

Yeah likely is that actually, certainly feels like this season could be an opportunity lost for us / any of the other non-parachute payment teams.

Look at some of the teams up there ffs. Watford in 5th... do me a favour! West Brom haven't won in about 8 games and are 7th. The levels of shitness we've hit is staggering.

Watford are a mad team this season. They break really quickly. Look capable of scoring and conceding 6 in most games. I found the game we played against them one of the more entertaining.

West Brom dull again this year though again, seem to be effective.

EDIT - seem to be less effective in recent games 😂

Some are turning on Corberan but he's getting blood from a stone imo. That team is shit. He'd have us sat in the top 6 for sure.

Spot on, Burnley in 3rd and we’ve scored more goals then them, that slow starts done us again, we should be right up there, there’s still time but playing catch up again

As people keep saying - fine margins.
We have just been on the wrong side of those margins on more occasions than say the likes of Watford/ Norwich/ WBA.

Can't be me that thinks kasey comes across absolutely terribly here and his attitude is appalling ?

It certainly does.

But what he said about his ex manager at Hull other than he should have played more games is exactly what many have said about Robins on here. And Robins was a massive success here.

Social media?

It's because we're not hard to beat, we're our own worst enemy. Corberan for example knows WBA arent very good so he's concentrated on making them an absolute pain to play against. If we're not going to win we're sure as shit not going to lose mentality. We've been very mentally weak.

If we had WBA defence or their mindset to stifle, we’d be right up there.

Our season isn't over if Lampard gets us to winning ways. Our main problem has been the soft goals we keep giving away.

We're only 10 points out of the playoffs. Sounds a lot but a few wins would make it look totally different. Leeds and Burnley for the top 2 places and the rest of us battling to make the top 6. Sheffield United have lost their best player to injury and don't have a big squad.

Still see this as a consolidation season where nothing is expected. But it isn't unusual for a side to come from nowhere to challenge. Could even be a lower than normal amount of points needed this season for 6th place.

Comes across as a complete bellend. Not surprised if there was a falling out leading to his departure if this is him.

I assume when he refers to the manager wanting to do things players aren’t used to he was probably told to actually run while he hasn’t got the ball

“Kasey does not run gaffer that’s what everyone else does. I’ll point and gesture a bit more though”

I picked up on this so quickly it's going to look like I stalk the forum constantly 😆

At least Blunderland are falling away, the nightmare was them and the Blunts going up but they've started to shit the bed nice and early.

I still don't think Sheffield United are very good, last season they'd have been nowhere near it, but they are effective unfortunately.

Leeds are the best team Imo and even they are a weaker side than themselves last season. Best team this season probably places about 5th last season. All the more annoying that we've completely fucked it.

Agree with all of that, apart from we’ve completely fucked it.

I still maintain we could have a decent end to the season and play offs are still a possibility.

Hull are absolutely woeful at the back passing it around. We need ro play Berty and Asanti up front against them. They get caught on the ball so many times

This Watford/QPR game has Watford nicking a jammy 1-0 win all over it. All QPR in terms of dangerous chances and should’ve had a pen too.
