Equally, it's very unusual for a Robins signing to be rumoured much before it actually happens. All of our other signings pretty much came out of the blue (Morgan Williams aside but that seemed to be a hitch with the paperwork). It's just not in Robins MO to do it this way. I don't doubt we have had some contact over Chaplin, but I'm not convinced he has been our only target all this time either.Robins has always been quick to deny rumours that aren't accurate, you can usually take his lack of denial as confirmation when a rumour gets to this stage.
