lots of these new cases do seem to be in the south east which is really, really in trouble.
Yes, doesn't look good down there and Wales Public Health have announed they will be reporting a backlog of around 11,000 cases tomorrow so I reckon South Wales is in massive trouble too.

That's over a week though but yes they aren't in a good way. Their issues seem to be around the RCT area again
5 days I think, the last set of figures inputted with no issue were last Friday's given on Saturday. It looks like their true case rate is between 2500 and 3000 a day which for a country their size is pretty grim and this off the back of high figures for months on end on areas such as Merthyr. Certainly puts paid to anyone thinking herd immunity might have worked.

Not really opening everything up though Pete.... 35m people cant even go to their local boozer or restaurant ! They just won’t be able to fine you if you choose to see a family member/mate outside your bubble.
I might be wrong but I get the impression most wont risk mixing with elderly relatives, or if they do will be extremely cautious.
There is no doubt numbers will increase though (theyre already are on the rise as mentioned above)

Just utterly illogical isn't it? You can't have a party but you can live alongside many others in dormitories.
I'd hope any income gained from people being fined is used to actually support others to isolate when they are required to, but that doesn't happen.
Realistically how is a student expected to pay a £10k fine? I'm assuming there will be the option to pay it in instalments, but even so, having something like this hanging over your head when you're trying to find your way in life must be very daunting. Ridiculous.

I don’t know why it’s easier to believe that a paper that sells around 1m copies somehow controls the entire populations thinking, rather than the idea that most of our fellow countrymen hold views similar to most newspapers.
Not really illogical is it? Student “dormitories” are mostly self contained flats and can me managed. Parties with 30 people in a flat getting drunk is obviously more is a risk.
