4.46 million people are waiting for routine appointments and operations because we are having to deal with Covid in hospital. I understand the frustration and I think those that signed the barrington declaration agree with you and lost didn’t want to see herd immunity or lots of death just shielding of the vulnerable and keeping the economy open. You obviously have no understanding of the type of care somebody with covid or any other respiratory illness might need. The Nightingales are not built for it.

This is what happens when you cut nursing bursaries and the things that go with it. People literally CANNOT AFFORD to train to become a nurse.You can't just pluck trained medical staff out of thin air though.
Even in hospitals they are using non ICU specialist nurses because there aren't enough specialist nurses to go round and they're having to treat 3 patients per nurse when it's usually one on one.
