My Mrs sister and brother are both 44 and are going for their first jabs next weds here in Somerset so who do you believe?
Vaccine roll out suddenly slows when it reaches age groups less likely to vote Tory as well. Stranger things have happenedBased purely on anecdotal evidence admittedly but.....
Somerset: 5 out of 5 Tory MPs & racing ahead of schedule with an abundant supply of vaccine.
Warks: 5 out of 6 Tory MPs & racing ahead of schedule with an abundant supply of vaccine.
Merseyside: 1 out of 15 Tory MPs was racing ahead in December/Jan & then had vaccine supplies throttled & then redistributed away from the region. Now lagging behind schedule.
...just saying.
I was talking more about the threats to block exports etc.

Conversely, Coventry's been doing well as far as I'm aware, and that ain't Tory. Not that I don’t love a conspiracy. But the factors that make an area Tory and that make take up high are the same (rich, older).
Certainly for the oldest percentile as life expectancy is either 10 years dependant on that postcode. Not that I don’t love a conspiracy. But the factors that make an area Tory and that make take up high are the same (rich, older).

Threats aren’t actions though and we’ve threatened the same. That’s just standard bluster and if you think that’s bad you should’ve been listening to our polticians the last thirty years. Or did you miss us threatening war on the French if we didn’t get the fish we wanted?
It doesn't really matter what you say, it just looks like blind defence of an institution with their backs well up against the wall.
You can have your second referendum now if you want though.
What? Dude you’re the one hung up on the EU. I’m sorry the facts are otherwise. This is how competing trading blocks act towards each other. It’s what you wanted. We get to threaten them over fish, they get to over vaccines

I'm not hung up, I just find it outstanding the lengths some people will go to defending the EU. Even when their fuck ups are platinum plated.
Exactly, where as Liverpool will always be somewhere they can ignore without losing meaningful votes. It isn't but it will be a target given how close the last GE was

Does Coventry return 3 or 4 MPs, I know it used to be 4 but I’ve been out of the area for years now.Nuneaton is Tory isn’t it? South Cov will probably go Tory next GE.
Not if we as a country grow some balls and throw out these charlatansNuneaton is Tory isn’t it? South Cov will probably go Tory next GE.

Thought so, find that a little surprising as I thought Cov would be big enough to have 4.

I think this local election is so important for Labour as it will be the first measure of Labour popularity since the GE.
I can honestly see a challenge for the Labour leadership over the next year.
Hartlepool by-election could be interesting. Suspect both parties will be going all out for that one.We get measures of Labour’s popularity every week or so from the polls. Currently it’s enough to deny a majority in a GE but not get one. Which is about the best you can expect after 2019.
From who? Richard Burgon?

Again. You’re blaming decisions that the fucking Congo took on the EU, then when that’s pointed out point to some very mild threats, which as I said we do too because that’s what two competing trading partners look like. You wanted this remember? You wanted everyone to go their own way. That’s what this is.
You’re like some guy that broke up with his ex and can’t stop Facebook stalking her. Move on.
Nuneaton is Tory isn’t it? South Cov will probably go Tory next GE.
Coventry South isn't going Tory in the next GE - From speaking to the locals we are getting support back from 2019 and Sultana despite what the press may say about her is actually quite popular.
2019 was a weak spot - desperately unpopular leader, two established MPs going and non-locals being parachuted in. Fletcher held onto her seat comfortably so, with the new MPs having had time to show what they can do (and they both seem to work quite hard) you'd think they'll establish themselves more.Coventry South isn't going Tory in the next GE - From speaking to the locals we are getting support back from 2019 and Sultana despite what the press may say about her is actually quite popular.
I hope so. The demographic of the area is increasingly Tory friendly. You’d hope 2019 was our low point though.
Sultana has improved a lot TBF.
