Played 11-a-side yesterday which was great. Not especially good for my health, but only because I can barely move today.

I don’t know why there’s so much hand-wringing over outdoor exercise which is about as safe as it gets. Indoor stuff and gyms is a different story of course, but there should be very few restrictions on outdoor sport right now, and govt messages like the one above aren’t helpful at all.

It’s organised sport that’s permitted isn’t it? Presumably on the basis that the organisation overseeing it has COVID protocols in place.

Seen a few people chirping herd immunity has bern reached. Laughed at it at first but thought maybe not as silly as it sounds?

We've got over 50% of adults vaccinated. Add on to those who have natural immunity from previous infection within the last year, say 20%?

Maybe we aren't that far off it after all 🤷‍♂️

I’ll believe it when we’ve second jabbed 50% and first jabbed the rest

You do get immunity if you've had it but its not 100 percent and it reduces incrementally.
They've done studies n people whove had it.

50% aren’t vaccinated. Most have only had 1 jab of a 2 jab program to achieve full vaccination.

Especially when you look at France. Think the tories have absolutely nailed the vaccine rollout and possibly the next few elections because of it

You're probably right Pete.
They have nailed the vaccine but people need to look at the complete picture and their handling has been abject.
In fact if you look at the timeline for procurement of the vacinne it shows just how serious they thought this virus was last summer which makes it absolutely criminal how late they locked down last winter.

It’s the inevitable triumphalism that will follow that’s the worst of it and the nonsense stuff like Hancock pretending to cry.
The lack of preparedness for a pandemic has been evident across Europe, we just have to hope they actually learn something from this.

They’re not wrong taking credit for it looking around the globe and at the so called mature democracies

A good number of Tory friends will just go ‘they did the best they could’ and ‘Labour wouldn’t have done better’ when picked up on 130,000 deaths and oozing corruption. Time to accept being in a permanent Tory rump UK

The Tories have very little to do with the actual roll out of the vaccine and they have a smallish bump because of it.

The next election is 3 to 4 years away with so many variables before then. The tories will have to get through the pandemic enquiry first and teh possible shedding of a leader.

Throw in a bit of look at France, look at Italy.
