Big jump in cases today, past the 3K mark for the first time in over 6 weeks.
Fingers crossed hospitalisations don't rise, can't tell what's happening there as the hospital admission stats haven't been updated for 4 days.
don't think it's a lot, they've just got a lot of accounts!!
Me and @SkyBlueDom26 are mates. A few on here clearly don’t have any
Thought about that myself but its hard to work out at the moment I think. What we're looking for is what the numbers should be once the vaccination program is done and things are back to 'normal'. Then how does that compare to other thinks like flu and other transmissible diseases. As covid will be here with us for the foreseeable.
What is the daily normal range of cases and deaths .
Reason being around 46 a day die from flu in a normal year .
Where are we expecting the levels to get to so the media don't try and scare us everyday?
I mean it's risen 400 cases from a population of 10s of millions and its at 9 deaths

I can confirm that Mr Finch and Boosh are both seperate people.

Wonder what the age breakdown is for flu hospitalisations and deaths in a year.
are you on about the virus or Dominic Cummings?
Wales despite being much smaller has allowed its health boards to make their own decisions on the roll out. The post 2010 governments have centralised decision making to such a great extent that it's just utterly inflexible, all by Tory design to cut jobs.“Imagine if Labour has been in charge of the vaccine rollout”
The most ironic surname in the world. Never heard that guy talk anything but moronic drivel.
Not a great showing from Hancock today. You'd have thought after everything aimed at him yesterday he'd be very keen to clear his name but apart from a vague 'its not true' don't think he actually denied anything specific.
Hancock is an absolute c**t.
Not sure there is any valid excuse they can give for things like PPE. They had exercise cygnus, well eventually it was postponed for two years as they were too busy with Brexit, to test the pandemic preparedness plan and lack of PPE and ventilators were among the many things flagged up.Yeah, wasn’t surprised, let’s be honest, he’s weak and he probably did lie. It will be interesting when he is interviewed by the select committee in a couple of weeks. Key questions, as many have said all along, relate to inadequate PPE supplies and releasing elderly back into care homes (without testing). They are probably the main lessons to be learned from this so we need to know what went wrong and who was to blame (to make sure stuff like that doesn’t ever happen again).

You'd like to think it's inexcusable but I'm not sure this country's hit the bottom yet.Not sure there is any valid excuse they can give for things like PPE. As seems to be the norm these days none of the recommendations were implemented.
Sending infected people into care homes filled with the most vulnerable is just inexcusable.

He really did Steve about five times in the first couple of months.Yeah, wasn’t surprised, let’s be honest, he’s weak and he probably did lie. I didn't make a list but I hope people like Marr did as he and others were usually sitting opposite him.
Vaccinations open to everyone in Italy from the 10th June
Depends how you look at it, isn't there a difference in efficacy of around 20 - 25%, becomes more relevant against the Indian variant? Is Italy not needlessly slowing itself down because of 1 in 100,000 blood clot bullshit?
apologies if this has been mentioned, but
Lisa Shaw: Radio presenter died 'after suffering blood clots following Oxford/AstraZeneca COVID vaccine' - family says
