Let´s say you are sat next to two people. One is unvaxxed, the one on the other side is vaxxed.

The unvaxxed one had a test in the last 48 hours which proves they haven´t got the virus.

Which one are you most likely at risk from?

Statistically the vaccinated one. No PCR test proves you don’t have Covid right now, it proves you didn’t have it when you took the test.

I’d say the person who’s had the test in the last 48 hours.

Edit: No wait.

I mean you are most at risk from the person who’s been vaccinated I read it wrong. Ha ha

Negative test trumps everything in that situation for me.

Yes, that is correct.

The other thing you have to equate for is that people who have been vaccinated are more likely to show less or even no symptoms, meaning less chance of them isolating or getting tested. This could mean they could go to Grendel´s concert by accident when they already have the virus.

Is it going to be grim? Cases dropping, more people vaccinated, more treatments in hospitals etc.

I mean its not going to be a walk in the park by any means but i cant see it being anywhere near the catastrophe that was last winter
Did you read my post? It is going to be grim in places without the vaccine coverage we have here.

Then why the fuck do you keep poking me, calling me scared if I want people to wear a mask on the train?!?

And also...

Yes, when I first arrived here they removed mask mandates. I was always wearing one when they were in place. They have now been mandated again, so I wear one in the shops.

The train/metro was the same, but happend a bit later. I always wore a mask on there regardless though.

Of course though if everyone was a coward and refused the vaccine we would be in a very very dire situation wouldn’t we?

I disagree.

The number of people that are vaccinated is extremely high. Those that choose not to may make a bit of a difference if they did, but things would not massively change.

If everyone on the planet got vaccinated, Corona would still not go away.

Bloke that lives down the road from me thinks the virus is a hoax but also pretty much bolts himself indoors as he doesn't want his mum getting infected. So he's literally locked himself in the house convinced the virus is made up while simultaneously being terrified of it.
Work that one out because I haven't got a fucking clue

That actually made me laugh out loud. What a dickhead hahaha.

I am.

And the strange thing is i know what I'm saying is probably ridiculous to people, especially considering how vocal i was about getting the initial 2 jabs and how pleased i was when i got them

But i just dont see why for me. I was classed as vulnerable as im asthmatic, hence i had both jabs by may. I've also had my flu jab of course (every year)

But im just completely disillusioned by having a 'booster' of something that need 2 fucking jabs to fully work anyway. And 3 in the space of 9 months?

Id understand if it was targeting say the delta variant but its not, its the same that I've had 2 of. And id like to think at 31with my immune system, and the 2 jabs I've had should get me through.

If we're looking at yearly boosters sign me up. Something i have to have 3 of in less than a year doesnt sit right with me anymore.

Feel free to call me a twat
Hold on, so you’re happy to have your flu jab yearly which is a vaccine that has been around for years and don’t question that but not another COVID jab, which is a brand new vaccine that is being improved all the time, after 9 months?

Is it the 3 months that is the thing? If it becomes a yearly jab, just like the flu jab, will you just not have it at all even though you’re asthmatic?

Not calling you a twat but definitely questioning your logic.

On Twitter before you protected it you frequently re-tweeted Lawrence Fox didn’t you? Even followed Jim Davidson I recall?

I also followed Tori Black. Fuck off!

- In answer to your allegations though, your honour, I just checked the evidence. Never retweeted Lawerence Fox, but you are right on Jim Davidson. Follow me if you are going to be that much of a stalker though, probably don´t have the courage though, do you princess? ;) 💋

The objective of the vaccine isn't to make it go away. It's to recognise it's here to stay and protect people from the worst affects of it. It's done a brilliant job.

More threats is it ESB? You seem a very agitated and angry person. You also get personal with people.

Its an unpleasant look really. I have stated that I don’t believe in forcing vaccinations upon people but the contempt and disdainful arguments people who clearly aren’t vaccinated is also not acceptable

You are adopting exactly the same arguments the likes of Fox and Beverley Turner. It’s not a healthy attitude.

It’s more the offensive attitude you have to people on here - who clearly are personally impacted - and the callous disdain you show. It’s really not pleasant reading or viewing.

The only one who has resorted to getting personal is you, and the pattern with you is the same every time. You start losing arguments and then start bringing up people´s history against them, or start doing character assassinations. It´s boring and predictable. The fact you just posted incorrect stuff about my twitter history, after you must have hunted it, and without ever interacting with me, is testament to that.

I do not have the same arguments as these people you have mentioned either, and the fact you group people like me in with them is sad. Just because I think your technique of calling them morons won´t improve vaccine update, it does not put me in the same category as them.

I was on big break when I was 15 and Jim Davidson called a girl who was on the same show as me a “stupid little fucking slag” storming back to his dressing room during a rehearsal. But still in front of kids and parents because she didn’t know how to hold a snooker queue properly.

True story.

It’s an actual true story Grendel as unlikely as it seems. I even wore a Cov City related t-shirt on it.

Not yet had the privilege of having my prostate checked

When was the last time you had your prostate checked?

Whether or not I have had one, two, three, or zero vaccines is absolutely none of your business.
I’ve had two vaccinations for Covid but no booster or flu jab yet.
No problem

In your particular case it's more a 'better safe than sorry' approach. I'll be honest I'm surprised that the boosters aren't specific to the new variants as I was led to believe these were in the works months ago.

I was in the crowd for a recording of an episode of Gladiators at the NEC and someone had made a massive flag which said ‘Wolf’s got crabs’.

Funnily enough it didn’t make it onto tv.

Awooga.

Speaking to a friend tonight working as a Covid researcher for London, they are keeping their eye on a new variant called 'October'.

So Netherlands enter a partial lockdown

Austria are effectively putting non vaccinated people in a severe lockdown and Germany considering extra restrictions on non vaccinated people

I can’t say I support any of it but these things have a habit of spreading round - if it has to be I’d rather the non vaccinated are targeted not the majority
