We must have some kind of immunity, my daughter's been at nursery throughout and obviously with any cough or rise in temperature they ask you to do a PCR test so over the last year and a bit she's been tested more than most and always negative. Despite this she's been in the same room where a number of staff have tested positive and pretty much all the other kids at one point or another.

Is it possible my double hard bastard DNA is the real key to ending the pandemic? Jury's out but all signs point to a resounding yes

Read that the other day, excellent news if it comes off as they will be able to produce the vaccines on mass in places such as India.

Also saw another article recently where the current vaccine manufacturers claimed the likes of India would be unable to produce their vaccines and therefore there was no point waiving the patents. Was thoroughly debunked by several independent experts. Really feel government's need to step in and force the patent waiver.

How many variants do we need before it sinks it that we need to get the world vaccinated not just ourselves?

I get the point but won't this just mean unvaccinated people don't test and will therefore be in work spreading it around?

That's assuming they have it. Just because somebody isn't vaccinated and has had "contact" doesn't mean they have it and will be running round like a monster killing everybody.

It says they won't get sickpay for isolating due to contact but will if they actually have it. Simple, just tell them you have it with a picture of a positive LFT. Or just don't mention you have been around somebody.

It's a money saving scheme for companies basically , that's it .
At the moment there are loads of workers off at our place and most of them are vaccinated .. why would I get paid and the other not ? We both caught it despite our vaccination status , ironically several of us contracted it at the same place too by the sound of it .. a ccfc match

Lot's of places haven't paid sick pay even when people get COVID and have to isolate themselves so it's not a new thing that people will still go to work.

Omicron doesn't seem to give a shit if you are vaccinated or not .. the only people I know that seemed to have swerved it are boosted .. millions of us are just double jabbed and that doesn't seem to do naff all to stop it spreading , every fucker I know of that's got it has been double jabbed pretty much

Looking at the case numbers in countries using vaccine passports I think we can safely say, relatively speaking, that they have, in non epidemiological terms, fuck all impact on the spread of omicron. I’m still hopeful Drakefords £60 fine for not WFH will nip it in the bud though

We had a guy come in to work on Friday and said he felt like he has covid but couldn’t do a lft test as he didn’t have one, the night before he was telling everybody that he has to test everyday for his other job. Waiting to see him come in tonight saying he doesn’t have it he has a history for this sort of stuff.
